The kiddies' expo happening at the moment (FuturePark) is amazing! Kept 2 adults and a 6 year old entertained for ages! Would probably still be there if there was no time limit. Parents, just be careful with the ball area as it isn't well supervised. As for Silver Star, it's a casino Not much else to say.

My husband and I visited Silverstar on Tuesday between 12PM and 5PM for lunch and a movie. It was an amazing experience and all the staff members we encountered were friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend visiting Silverstar outside "normal" visiting hours if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle and get the full experience of being able to see a movie and have a meal without the crowd. Fantastic vibe!

Neat and tidy place.
I do however feel that there is not a lot of family activity available here.

Aside from that, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Silverstar Casino is a great way to celebrate and enjoy your holidays. Its great for kids to visit and because of it's open area you really enjoy a lot. Restaurants are good enough to keep you busy and hunger free. I have stayed at Presidential Suite twice at the hotel and also at normal hotel room. The stay has been awesome. Thanks

Good selection of activities. The restaurants are good but some lack in service. Many restaurants but not much variation or children friendly/focused places. Fun for the whole family. Many promotions and entertainment packages for everyone. Multiple uses, function venues and conference rooms. Hotel allows for travelers to use the facilities to their full extent. Beautiful views. Spa allows day visitors pampering, with a wide variety of services and impressive facilities. Really a great entertainment venue on the West Rand.

Fantastic improvement after recent face lift! Great restaurants and piazza for kids to play in water. A must visit!

The casino is small, but with a high entertainment value. Sometimes they have children's activities during school holidays, but not always - there is a water-jet fountain for the kids to play in, directly outside Spur. There is also the Globe and Barnyard Theatre, plus movie cinemas, and those I would give a 5 Star rating.

The casino itself is average. The entertainment offered is really good. They have something for everyone. They Newley constructed outside section is fantastic! Kids love the water fountain!

Lovely place to spend a few hours. My son loves the arcade here.
The movies are nice & there is a nice piazza area with restaurants and a lovely fountain that becomes a colour fountain at night.
You can also get a reasonably priced massage at Kai Thai

Large, open plan casino layout with most of the games and tables to be expected. A decent cinema and selection of restaurants, as well as other activities. A beautiful outside walk with lanterns hanging in the trees and a grand fountain. If you're lucky, you'll catch a magnificent thunderstorm from the top parking. A very decent facility that provides what would be expected.

Weather you are going as a family, or friends, or couple of even alone. This place is for everyone. If you want to gamble, play games with friends, catch up with friends. Get away as a family or as friends or couple. They have a cinema and the cheapest around. Games, such as Laser tag, there are always competition's in the casino area big prizes to win. Ten Pin bowling, and restaurants all over. They have a dome for events. So it's a full house

My favorite for a quieter afternoon or evening. I love to head to Silverstar on a sunny afternoon and enjoy one of their outdoor / plaza style restaurants. Cinema is great too. What I miss is a nice and cozy coffee shop. The one they have just doesn't do it. A cool bar on the gambling floor would be nice too. And quite obvious but missing given the area where is the lounge overlooking the valley ?
