Donatella's food was amazing and now with the covid and social distancing, there isn't much people. Very peaceful and I found macaroons 🥺 so I'm happy.

I must commend Montecasino on their efforts to ensure safety in line with COVID-19 regulations. From controlling access, social distancing measures, guest screening and near constant sanitization of high volume area's and access points - I was very impressed by their commitment.

For only R10 entrance you get safe parking and a fun time. There are a range of things to do other than gambling, with some live music on weekend nights. The interior always smells nice and although there are mostly a lot of people it's a great outing in Joburg. We also did the two for one date night deal for R380 and it was well worth the money!

Even if you're not into gambling, there will be something here for you. We spent the day visiting the bird gardens, which was wonderful, played ten pin bowling as well as laser tag- all of which was great fun. There are many places to shop- be it clothing, souvenirs, books or candy- you will find it. And of course, a food court with a variety of stores or if you're looking to be a little more fancy- many restaurants to visit.

It's a pride of johannesburg and must see for all. There is something for everyone. Excellent and world class casino to try your luck, food court with multi cuisine restaurants, movies and fun zones. The bird garden is another wonderful attraction where you see the superb display of birds and their skills. A place for all. Highly secured and managed.

Monticasino entertained the kids so so well on the Easter weekend. We had an amazing day here. The restaurants are superb and caters for all budgets. The vibe awesome. Love the music, face painting, huge bouncy castles, water fountains, the talented dancers and the competitions. This place is great for all ages. Love it!

It feels like day light even at night, the ceiling is so beautiful. I like the vintage feel it has, yet so modern. You can get lost in that place, it's so nice you'll never want to leave. The parking is very reasonable. There's a lot of parking. There's a cinema with a wide range of new blockbusters, I think there's 11 theaters if I'm not mistaken. If you're a Tsogo Sun member, you can enjoy great benefits and discounts, what's more nice you don't even need a physical membership card.

Lots of entertainment-mostly focused on the gambling side of things (slots and tables etc). But has a great variety of restaurants and entertainments. Loads of nice little spots to just grab a drink while you wait-has theater and cinema as well as garden(with birds etc). Bit of a cheek charging upfront for parking, which seems always a nightmare-as is traffic(especially during peak hour). Prices aren’t cheap-so do some research and look at menus before you sit down! Depending on the time can be amazing with kids, but after dark it’s chaos so rather leave them at home.

This place is one of "must see" centres in South Africa. It is by origin a Casino but many people come here just to use other facilities and not the Casino.
Safety is high and the venue is suitable for families. There is child care centre where you can leave your child upto 3 hours and use restaurants or theatre.
Plenty of restaurants for any taste are available and open till late.

This place has a kind of euphoria of its own. Something just wants to make you want to spend a full day here. Atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming. Everyone there looks like they want to be there. The Spur here has perfect grills and the spinach is extra creamy😍The screens in the Cinema need to made bigger because for 3D, the screen was just too small.

Monte Casino definitely gets a full 5 stars from me. Have always enjoyed visiting this destination. An array of activities besides gambling. Classy top notch restaurants and the shows secured are always wonderful. The design and flow is perfect.

Montecasino is beautiful! I would highly recommend at least stopping by and take a walk around the inside. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The architecture was incredible! Indoors, they had half the building as a "night scene" and there other half had "day scene" where the ceilings were painted with either dark skies or light skies that give a different atmosphere in both areas. Also indoors, the buildings give a very Italian feel. Definitely a must visit if you visit Johannesburg! (Very kid friendly)

Great Restaurants and great shows. The movie house is amazing even though their straw quality has dropped massively. A good place to go on a date or to hang out with Friends. Keep updated with what is happening there as they have a changing schedule and you might miss something great. I hear the club's are great there too, But I can't confirm as its not really my scene.

Great design. The great variety of eateries cater for every pocket. The parking facilities are great and even more so the parking fee. I stayed for 3 hours and paid only R10.

Now this place is nightlife on steroids, you will find everything in this once location, great restaurants, night club, casinos for the brave gambler, blind dates. It's even just enough to just walk around or grab a movie ticket. Parking is secure with highly responsive security and surveillance. I bet you will like to go again and again.

Monte Casino is a very safe and secure complex with entertainment facilities, restaurants and shops. Is great for teenagers to safely hang out with ten pin bowling, arcade, laser tagging and movie theater. Adults enjoy a casino plus there are multiple large theater stages for productions. From time to time there are also events that are well worth visiting, see their website.

Really nice shopping centre with a great Italian feel. Has good indoor and outdoor dining options with lots and lots of restaurants in all price ranges. There are two good theatres for watching shows. The bird Park is also worth a visit.

A vibrant get together place with lots to do; movies, fine eating, gambling and shopping. Beautifully decorated, it reminds one of Italy at dusk. The area is big and not all the restaurants are in the same place. Be ready for a walk!

Montecasino has something for everyone, whether families, couples or single.
Great restaurants! Movies for avid movie goers, wonderful theatre experiences, shopping and book stores, as well as plenty options for kids. The bird park is an absolute must!
The casino is also extremely popular, but it is just one of the many activities on offer.
Montecasino is a great day or night out!!!
