I like that it's not always full like shopping centres. If you want to watch a movie, this is the best place. There aren't queues at food places like there are at malls. Ample parking outside, visible and helpful security guards. The Barnyard has good food and current show. I also enjoy the 10 pin bowling alley. This is great fun for all family members.

A place for everyone, has a casino and an amusement part right next to it. While the parents are enjoying their time at the casino and many restaurants that it has to offer,the kids can enjoy they amusement park and loads of entertainment. There is a student discount for those who are still schooling and kids under a certain height get free entry. Go inside and don't be afraid to explore the rides or other hundreds of way to keep you thrilled.

Gold Reef City is a casino from Tsogo Sun group in Johannesburg and its one of the 3 in the city. I have seen some shows in the theatre and also some movies there. I have always loved the environment and Aura of the train station this casino offers. The facilities are clean and excellent. It has many other eating joints to meet the taste buds of children to adults. Thanks

It's a beautiful little casino the cinemas are great.. big and spacious.. easy on the pocket almost half the prize in terms of other theatres. The food options are limited at Gold Reef City.. most restaurants are quite expensive. What it needs is a cocktail lounge!! All in all a quaint decent venue. worth a visit.

An excellent casino. The grounds are very well maintained. The theme is truly South African and really communicates a sense of the gold rush well. There is a good selection of fast food outlets and sit down restaurants, as well as some fancier options for special occasions. There is easy access to the Theme Park, and the City Sightseeing Red Bus and Soweto tour stops here.

I've spent an excellent week at that beautiful casino. Its big and its like nothing I have seen before. There is more than enough table games and slots machines for every one to enjoy.

Its got a good vibeand you cnt get board while you thereand there everything and anything you need to have a good time,from food to movies;games and gambling machines,just a whole lot of things to do and have a good timeand it has the most friendly staff

Lots to do at the casino complex, even if you don't gamble. The cinema is my favourite because it's spacious and you don't have to fold your knees up when people need to get past you. I love the steampunk train station touches. Lots of places to choose from to eat as well, from breakfast to dinner, from fast food to fine dining.

A very convenient outing for me and the kids. The restaurants are great, lots of fun things for the kids and the movies is a plus. We looooove watching movies at Gold Reef City. And the whole train station feel with the platforms that was a brilliant idea. Love it! Everything is great!

Fabulous atmosphere. Awesome places to eat. Barnyard theatre on the doorstep. Casino is great. Back of the moon is classic! Super for a day or night out! Hotel is a bonus when you not in the mood to drive or feel like a bit of over indulgence.

Has a decent selection of fine dining options as well as a few fast food outlets. There is a charming Victorian Train Station styled movie house. Child care is offered to gamblers. There is also a Fun Company arcade and bowling ally.

Nice complex.
I don't gamble, but I enjoy the restaurants and entertainment available.
Back of the Moon is a really nice restaurant, with live music on Saturday nights.
Get a loyalty card for discounts at the restaurants.
