Beautiful view!
You can go there by car but the parking space is mostly really full.
You can take good pictures and watch a beautiful sunset.
There are mostly lots of people!!
A nice winding road drive uphill brought us to signal hill. We were amazed by the variety of colours we could see before and during sunset. There is also this huge yellow metal frame you can sit in and get the table mountain in the background. Spent some time absorbing the beauty of nature. You can also see a view of 12 apostles.
A short stop on the way back was made to click a few pictures of the city illuminated by night lights. Since it was nearing 8 we decided to come back home.
A must see for everybody that visits Cape Town. Located next to Tabel mounted and lions head. Signal hill is the perfect place to take in Cape Town with a 360 view of the whole city and the beautiful blue ocean. It is the perfect place so start or end your tour of Cape Town. Signal Hill is even more beautiful at night when the light of Cape Town light up the night sky.
One of the best places to watch a beautiful sunset, have a picnic, or just wander through nature. For the sunset views, the ground on the side of the hill is covered with a mat for everyone to sit on, or your picnic blanket. There are toilet and ablution facilities. Limited parking available at the top, but cars are able to park on the sides of the road.
What an amazing place to watch the sun set.. Ensure you have a blanket as the wind makes place cold in the evening..
Go with a cup of coffee or any hot drink.. Better yet, go with a picnic basket and enjoy dinner..
Beautiful place to hike or just drive to have a look over the mother city. Night or day!
If you love nature you will fall in love with the view. The rest is self explanatory. Worth the trip. The drive to Signal Hill in itself is rewarding.
It was such a lovely place to be especially watching the parachute guys doing their thing. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience the noon gun because it was on a sunday
Signal hill is a beautiful viewpoint for those who don’t feel like climbing. It’s free! So just drive your way up to the top and enjoy the amazing flowers, nature, and viewpoints.
If you do feel like having a climb, the trail start point for Lion’s Head is actually on the way up to Signal Hill.
Lovely views of Cape Town and surrounding areas. Pretty quick drive up from the city. If you go early in the morning, it's not crowded and is really beautiful an hour or two after sunrise. Great light.
Easily accessible by car ( so can be crowded on weekends) limited parking. Good city and sea views as well as watching the paragliders launch. Novel "frame" for a good photo of Table Mountain.
Without a shadow of doubt, this is THE BEST place to watch the sunset (sunrise maybe even?) in Cape Town. You may bring your booze and sit there and be amazed over and over again by how beautiful CT is.
Stunning view.. definitely worth a visit if the weather is clear and NO winds.. you can
Awesome spot for one great view of Cape Town.
Safe in the day if you go at night go with a group otherwise great if you visit Cape Town there is a mobile coffee shop and paragliding was R1400 including GoPro video etc
Bathrooms little barbaric wife said it's a long drop.
Also a yellow square to get photos taken (can't post that's private)
Take the wife and kids up or just your other half have a great romantic view.
Not that we knew but bring a pad lock to put up the railing like the love locks.
Beautiful spot to admire the beauty of Cape Town. Be advised though that traffic can become a problem especially with tour buses. Ideally best to park lower down the approach road and walk up to enjoy it at leisure instead of being stuck in traffic.
