Beluga is is nice for lunch and cocktails under the umbrellas on a sunshiny day. Sushi is good and they do have sushi specials (but no specials for non-sushi eaters, which would be great). Enjoyed the food generally.

Very nice afternoon tea/champagne spent at the Beluga. I like how posh and relaxed the atmosphere was at the same time. The servers were all really nice, elegant and dynamic, I felt genuinely welcomed. The sushi and tempura were fresh, good and the cocktails are totally worth it, especially on fridays where they offer cocktails/sushi happy hour sets. The terrace is nice and equipped with fans when it’s too hot. The inside of the building is really spacious and beautifully decorated as well. Special thanks to Samuel for never missing out an occasion to ensure me and my friend weren’t lacking of anything. Well done, I will certainly be back :)

The seafood here is remarkable. The wine selection is adequate, but also offers plenty of local options. They have a huge menu with plenty of options. Staff is incredibly professional and don't bug you too often. Will definitely return. Highly recommended if you like seafood.

Loved their seared tuna salad but my new favorite is the Snow Dragon Rolls. A fusion of tempura prawn California rolls wrapped in salmon and tuna and topped with a delicious crab salad. 8 pieces of heaven. If you manage to get there before 18h00 you can enjoy the their half price special.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Although very pricey, you pay for what you get and what you get is great! Sushi platters are great for a group of people to share. This is quite a trendy place. Great place for a date

Great place, good variety of delicious food and very polite and friendly staff, I was served by Malvern and he was very nice and helpful in choosing the right dish. Highly recommended.

Fabulous sushi dinner. AWESOME waiting called Destin. A HUGE lack of background music. They need PROPER Kahlua coffee glasses! We WILL be back :)

I mean I mean Really, Google You really asking me to rate Beluga, the fine dining GOAT 🐐? You haven't experienced ANY of Cape Town til you've been to Beluga. Affordable 3 course meals all-year-round; great atmosphere; good food.

I have to go Cape Town twice a year for business visits and have been visiting this place for six years now. It s one of the liveliest restaurants that you can find at that part of the city. Attitude of the service team is always positive and the food never disappointed me.
Seafood is one of freshest I had so far.

I have mixed feelings about Beluga. I used to go once or twice a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then there must have been a change in management and ingredients because both the staff and the food seemed to change for the worse. I'm not saying it's a BAD experience now. Just not as good as it used to be. The price is fair for decent food and a nice vibe. I've never been disappointed by the sushi.

Go here regularly but as it was quiet the staff looked like they wanted us to hurry up. It was quite late but kitchen was still open.We ordered food quickly to accommodate.Had to ask for our cutlery,the bottle of water twice and my cocktail was loaded with sugar&i asked for it without so I couldn't drink it. Not our best visit but will go back.

Amazing steaks, great wines and very friendly service.
Definitely one of the better restaurants in town. Pity the restaurant inside is noisy- prefer a seat outside on the terrace if you can chose.
