Cozy & central, nice sized rooms & very friendly staff!
Clean rooms friendly staff and close to important and convenient areas
Spacious and well located but the views are gone (thanks to new building in front) and the furniture is going. Needs a revamp.
The hotel is great! The service was impeccable and the self-catering room was spacious, clean and very functional. We spent a great time there and rested plenty before visiting the Table Mountain National Park. The breakfast was a feast and gave us everything we needed for the hike up!
The hotel has a good quality in its infrastructure, with big rooms, including the bedroom and a Living room combined with a "quick" kitchen (fridge, 2pc cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and the basic utensils)
Bed cold be more comfortable though. Mattress is not the best one for a 4/5 star hotel.
Breakfast is very good. Not a lot of variety but what is served is very good, indeed.
TV is very limited too. you have a couple of local channels, 2 movie channels and 2 local sport channels, plus CNN. Of course: no one is usually going to a Hotel, to stay inside of it, but would have been great to have variety at disposal. like 20 or 30 channels.
finally, I didn't use the SPA facility, so no notes to add on that.
Awesome view. Perfect location. And if you're lucky, you may even spot whales, dolphins from the hotel shore!
Bed is great. Bathroom and room furniture is dated and basic. Breakfast is good but no halaal options.
Walked over to this hotel for drinks and a bite to eat. Quaint, cozy, fun. We had a fried camembert and it was great. Bartender was so awesome. He even turned on the fire for us! Wish we had found it sooner-we would have gone there a few more times!
Very professional, stately rooms. Staff are knowledgeable and provide a great service with a smile. Great location, close enough to all the tourist spots. The breakfast included may not be as extensive as some other 5 stars but could not be faulted. All this was for a very affordable price. Probably the best value for a 5 star hotel.
Stunning hotel with an historic feel. The suites are definitely boutique quality.
The restaurant is very helpful as well, and the chef went out of her way to make us supper with halaal certified ingredients away from pork and alcohol.
I definitely recommend this place, but if you want to go during peak season be sure to book well in advance.
It's an amazing place
Well located. Helpful staff. Lovely setting.
Very spacious rooms , pretty and clean. Very attentive and friendly stuff . A clear recommendation especially if you are looking also for longer stay
Great hotel and lovely staff, highly reccommended for anyone going to Cape Town
