Extremely comfortable place, great location and lovely extra touches. On our last night we returned to discover our room was candle-lit and an ice bucket with sparkling wine has been left for us.

A lovely upscale boutique hotel with tastefully decorated rooms. The service is impeccable. The location is conveniently located in town. The parking is inside the hotel grounds.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and and couldn't do enough to be helpful. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Turndown service included nice touches, creme brûlée, chocolate brownies. Laundry service delivered to room and hung in wardrobe. Definitely would go again.

The Last Word is a little gem of a hotel. A great location in the centre of Franschoek. The room was a great size, with comfortable bed and lounge area. A complimentary mini bar in the room, supplemented by a complimentary drinks selection from the self-service bar next to the dining area.
Good quality cooked breakfast option with a self-service buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough!response / report this review -
