Had a prawn salad to start and a beef burger as a main. Was very happy with the atmosphere in the restaurant as well as the quality and presentation of the food. It turned out to be a most enjoyable evening out!

After being at Kasteelberg where our food took over an hour and a half when it wasn't even busy, we proceeded to go to the Red tin roof and the service was absolutely spectacular. The owner immediately attended to us and our food came quickly irrespective of how busy they were. The vibe at red tin roof is absolutely amazing and the service is instant. Recommended fully!

Besides the great service, awesome character to this place. Love the way you can just get comfortable and be yourself. If you don't like cats and dogs roaming around in a restaurant, then don't visit. Otherwise, still very hygienic and the animals are well behaved, part of the character this place has. I stayed for a night cap with the owner and some locals, nicest people with lots of stories and personality, but when I left the bar was closed and I wanted to buy some water to take to my guesthouse, so the owner offered me three bottles of water on the house. Thanks for the generosity.

Excellent food and friendly service in a fantastic venue. Interesting posters/pictures/history on the walls as part of the decor. The meal was not rushed - part of the slow movement!!

Think modern diner menu with a south African twist.
You can dine with large woodcuts of general Mao, whilst overlooking a quintessential south African stoep.

Whilst the menu is quite extensive (steaks, pizzas, burgers, curry, etc) with plenty of options, the burgers are most popular, and the vetkoek bun has to be chosen for the full experience.

The Pattie was incredibly juicy and hand-made, and all the toppings and accompanying sides were exemplary. However, I do have to question a cold vetkoek bun, which was also missing the slightly crispy texture.
The desert menu was also quite limited.

Fair priced, good service and a really interesting collection of wall art in an eclectic setting. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Great food, setting and service. Local wines and local food flair. Outdoor seating under the trees. Quirky and nostalgic interior.

I've never eaten here, but I have drunk. Great local Chenin Blanc (as is my little habit) Fantastic nights of live music and interesting people from far and wide. Wacky origional dècor featuring memorabilia from the former Eastern Bloc!

A very nice venue that's unfortunately only open for lunch from 12:00 - 15:00 so be aware of that.

Had some stock issues with regards to ordering the Biltong pizza but they were more than accommodating to replace it with something else.

An excellent breakfast run destination if you are of the motorcycling inclination.
