Good value for money. Great service, comfortable spacious rooms. everything as advertised website undersells it. Only thing i can complain about is that the blinds in the room need some maintenance restuarant is superb!!!

I attended a conference at Ruslamere in Durbanville area. I must say the customer service and the place itself is awesome. The Staff will go out their way to assist you. Will definitely see me again. Keep up the excellent services guys.

Had our business year end function there tonight. Food took hour and a half from the first plate of food until the last plate to come out. Orders came out wrong. Had te repeatedly go ask kitchen where our food is. Chef shouted and was rude to our boss. No empty glasses was removed from our table. Starters plates were left on table until end. Bad service all round.

I attended at day conference hosted by a supplier to our business. The facilities are really good and they have everything you need to make an impact with your audience. The catering was well prepared and more than sufficient. A good choice for any business

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful grounds and rooms. Outside is just rustic enough to compliment the stylish and practical rooms. Food is amazing and staff are super friendly and professional. From reception to restaurant. If you want to be treated like royalty. This is the place. Would recommend this venue to all.

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience at Rusty Oak Restaurant. Ordered the peppermint crisp tart and it wasn't nice at all. Tasted like it was prepared a few days ago and the cookies were stale, also too much cream. The staff and manager in the restaurant were brilliant though, very attentive and friendly. They brought me a new piece of tart which was much better but i would still prefer it without all the cream.

A hidden germ with an amazing laying out. For day visitors it's very easy to spend more time on the premises than actually planned. This place just has that feel of making you NOT want to leave it behind for whatever reason brought you there be it a Spa treatment, conference, holiday / work accommodation or simply sorting out hunger issues at The Rusty Oak Restaurant. Very addictive.

Lovely place to eat with the family. Good food and a great kiddies area outside. The service is sometimes a little slow, but everything else makes it worthwhile

Very relaxing. Good food. Very friendly and very helpful personel. With good clean neat surroundings to top everything off. I would definately recommend people to stay there and use the conference facilities.

Not very good at all. Assuming that the staff are not trained adequately. Poor communication. No call back or feedback. No False advertising - website versus on site. Almost R400 per head for what ? Pathetic.
Go an visit the site before you pay. Believe me.

The restaurant is fantastic, but the accommodation is at best average. For some or other reason our beds would be made everyday but the garbage from the kitchenette were not taken out the entire long weekend. Two pizza boxes in front of our room was not taken away.

    However they are pet friendly.

Not only for a conference and stay, but also nice for local residents to enjoy the restaurant while the kids enjoy the swimming pool. Very relax atmosphere.

My husband and I were there on Saturday and watched the yummy looking food go past us and decided to go for Sunday lunch which we did with the whole familywhat a disappointment! Waited 2 hours for our starters and only one was brought, then waited another 2 plus hours for the main meals, half of the meals were unavailable as they had run out! The hot ships were terrible and so was the rest of the food. Will never go there again and will not recommend it to anyone either. The only thing we enjoyed was our family! If I could post this without giving it a star I would.

    So disappointing!
We went there with the family today (Sunday the 4th of December 2016) for lunch and I must say, it's a Beautiful place and venue! But, the service was bleak. After ordering the food, it took almost 2 hours to receive it. They said it's because some of the chef's didn't show up to work or something. I understand that, but.that doesn't mean the food could be the way it was. The chips my mom ordered were disgusting and you could actually taste that it was made in old oil. My brother's chips didn't even arrive with his meal like it said it would on the menu. They brought it after we asked 2 times though. I ate a chicken snitchel with mushroom sauce and a few minutes after I was finished eating and still waiting for the rest to finish, I started feeling woozy. I ran to the bathroom and threw up two times. 5 of the 8 people sitting at our table said the food was Terrible. It looked absolutely divine! But I literally got sick at the spot and I don't have a sensitive stomach.

Beautiful place. But worst food I have ever eaten in a long while.
