Phoned and emailed, said they would phone me back now 5 days later and still nothing. A complete waste of time, it's a wonder how they stay in business.

Orca LOST my dishwasher!!! They collected my machine for a minor repair, quoted me to repair it only for me to find out they quoted me on completely different model. Then they “found” my machine and quoted me on repairs totaly different from what was actually wrong with the machine. I then went to collect and they tried to give me someone else’s machine. It’s been a month and they still haven’t found my machine. One of the staff admitted that it’s not the first time this has happened. Since the machine has been collected they have not once phoned me, i have to phone constantly to find out what’s going on. The matter is not yet resolved !!!

Hi, had issues with my Washing Machine. It was fixed in the end, but they tell you they come tomorrow and they don't pitch up. It took 2 appointments for them to pick the machine up. Then there tell you they fix it and bring it back already the next day..well..they don't. I took 4 appointments for them to deliver it!!! The amount of time I wasted with them is really bad. Time I could have worked and get paid for it.

Not recommendable: Very disappointing and unreliable. Time waster and instead of 12 month guaranty, as agreed on the phone, just 3 month in the end! Sure there are better ones out there. Cheers

I am very impressed with the service I received from Orca! The ladies at the front desk called me back quickly after I submitted an online enquiry, I had a knowledgeable technician come by 2 days later to fix it on site. washing machine is working perfectly! Reasonable prices too.

This shop is a repair centre for all domestic appliances AND sells 2nd hand appliances. They have a large cast iron pot section to sell AND they rent their pots out.

Booked for a washing machine repair for Saturday. Only to find out on the day that the booking was missed. Then they say they are full for the day and will only be able to assist the following week.

Called Orca on Thurs 27 Oct 2017 at about 11am. Reported problem withy my washing machine and they said would send someone in the morning. I asked if they could not send someone after 4pm. After a quick discussion, they said they would get someone there by 4pm.
I received a call about 3:45pm by a technician saying that he was on his way. The technician arrived just after 4pm and promptly diagnosed the fault and provided me with a quote to effect the repair and stated that he had the required part with him and the repair could be done immediately. I accepted the quote and he proceeded to effect the repair.
Truly great service. Righard, the technician was most effective and efficient.
I have used your services many times before and feel confident to recommend this company to anyone. Keep up the good work guys.response / report this review -

Do these guys even communicate with one another? I've been so patient for so long but no one keeps to their promises of call out or delivery times, with almost no response from email enquiries. Been waiting for our washing machine to be fixed for about 2 weeks now. Shocked at how a company still exists with this kind of service.

I have a broken washing machine. They told me they're send a guy between 9am - 12pm. In the morning the guy phoned me to say that he'll be there between 12pm-1pm. He arrived at 2:30pm.
He looked at the washing machine for about 10 minutes - charged me the R350 call out fee and said it will cost over R1000 to fix, but that he'll send me the quote the next day. 4 days later I sent an email but didn't get any response and then I phoned 7 days later and finally they sent through the quote. R2400!!!
They are unprofessional and make a killing off the call out fees. Use them as your last resort.response / report this review
