Had a wonderful al fresco lunch under a shady patio with excellent food and wines. The water melon and feta salad and homemade desserts were really good.
Highly recommended !!
The steaks were cooked to perfection. They tasted nice, soft. The accompaniments did not fit. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was good.
This is a sham. If this were a review for Oude Wellington, its skewed. The restaurant doesn't exist, it is now Bar Bar Black Sheep and its mediocre to say the best. We booked for Oude Wellington based on the ratings and arrived to find Bar Bar Black Sheep which has bad rating and rightfully so, the food that you are paying a premium on all tastes like it was made in a factory. the risotto wasn't cooked through, the bitterballen were mush, the samoosa's were anything but lamb boboeti and tastes like they came from a bad mass produced box. The only redeeming factor was the friendly waiter, who was hard to find even though there were only 3 tables full on the night. What a fail of something we were excited for based on the ratings of a restaurant long gone.
Very good and friendly service. Excellent food, well presented.Good variety on menu. Lovely venue
Awesome venue to sleep over on a wine farm, breakfast was good!!
Peaceful, romantic setting in which to enjoy a tasty meal, well prepared and served with warmth & friendliness.
Awesome experience, would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Susan Teklenberg
Great wine, food, and service. And the restaurant has a lovely outdoor patio.
Friendly service, exquisite food.
Lovely historical farm and scrumptious food. Wonderful atentive hosts. Highly recommended.
Special food.. one of the best pork belly! best pudding
Good quality food and tranquil environment
Long, lazy lunches with impeccable food. Don't expect your food in a hurry cause it won't happen. This is a place where you spend time with friends and family talking and enjoying. The lambs tongue is divine even if it is hot (as opposed to cold pressed as my mum would prepare it). Serves only local wines (loved the Pink Rhino). If you are passing make the time to stop in.
Gorgeous old-wordly setting amongst the mountains and vineyards in Wellington, Cap Winelands.
Good food at affordable rates.
Good choice in the menu, always delicious, good wine advised by the waitress. Spent our 3rd anniversary there with my boyfriend, that was great. Will definitely go again
