Though I agree the hotel needs an urgent renovation to reach expectation levels of an One&Only the renovations are under way I could write essays on the out of this world service experience of the staff at the One&Only Cape Town! Extremely accommodating. I would stay here over and over again just for the service and warmth!

Of the best hotel in town, also I recommend visiting the hotel and enjoy the surroundings even if you’re not staying and enjoy an afternoon tea at the backyard. Or arrange a dinner at Nobu restaurant. I recommend 👌🏻

Earlier this afternoon we had lunch outside on the deck at Vista Bar. Whilst the food and service is always great everytime we come to the hotel I just want to let management know what a fantastic waiter in particular their employee Prince is.

There was a table of 6 of us plus my 11 month old niece. Prince was so friendly, helpful and professional and despite some complicated orders as certain parties had particular dietary requirements, Prince ensured everything was served correctly and even entertained my niece at the table whenever he came to check on things.

Please let Prince know the great service he provides to his customers and what an asset he is to the team!

This hotel is AMAZING it overlooks beautiful Table Mountain..the rooms are classy and I would recommend it anytime.. and the Vista Bar & Lounge is amazing. I come here to gather my thoughts to unwind and to worknow that covid stops us from traveling it gives us as South Africans the opportunity to get to know our beautiful country with all its exquisite hotels and destinations.

Had a great afternoon tea here. The atmosphere and setting is really nice with live piano music in the background. The high tea selection was amazing, paired with different savory and sweet bites. I personally found the sweets were too sweet for my taste. Other than that, highly recommended.

Early morning 4:35am on the way to The Cape Town Old Mutual Two Ocean Marathon. One and Only have a runners table set up. Looks great. Check the chocolate bunnies out.

Great conference facilities and good service. Expensive catering for the more affluent population. However always pleasant going there when the opportunity presents itself.

AMAZING. My husband sent me for a spa day at the One&Only for my birthday. It was out of this world amazing. Great and clean facilities, no lack of anything. Great service. Soft and caring masseuse. Definitely coming more often!

Excellent service. Great hospitality and staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery from the hotel and spa. Really the best experience you can have for a weekend away to relax. Beautiful world class hotel.

Great venue, spoilt by parking issues. Parking sucks. How do they expect customers to visit regularly, without adequate parking - definitely not five star! Staff parking prioritized over customers apparently.

We visited here for afternoon high tea. Beautiful setting and great staff. Gorgeous lounge area and fabulous treats. Rated 4 as price was a little more expensive that Silo Hotel and Nelson Mandela hotel, where you can get equally good food. Still happy to have gone and experienced it.

The venue was set up in all its splendor. Candles, chandeliers, gleaming cutlery and sterling service that kept the guest of the wedding smiling and laughing without a care in the world. The food was excellent as is to be expected but tremendously appreciated by all. And to crown it all the heavenly desserts.

We had the most amazing five course tasting here to celebrate our engagement!! The service was impeccable, our sommelier was entertaining and informative, and the food was divine. We were there for hours and the time just flew by! Before dinner we enjoyed a cocktail and the view of table mountain. Just an amazing experience overall!

Stayed here for 9 nights in kingsize superior with mountain view (worth the extra for the view!). Superb room - excellent service and the best breakfast area and range of food I've ever had. The concierge (Joshua) needs a special mention as he was superb with his advice, knowledge, recommendations and organising trips. Great location for the waterfront. Expensive but luxurious!

I traveled to this hotel for a business meeting with 8 colleagues. We utilised the hotel meeting facilities, restaurants and bedrooms. My room was very spacious with luxurious amenities and an incredibly comfortable bed. Location is convenient and safe along the Marina. Food was simply amazing at all meals. Views of Table Mountain are inspirational. Wonderful hotel

We went for the New year's celebration, so although we didn't stay at this hotel the experience to be expected is probably similar to what we had.

The service and the quality, quantity and presentation of the food was amazing. The only negative point was that drinks we're not included after paying the expensive entrance fee.
It also had free WiFi, good terrace and the hole ambient is just perfect. I don't think you're gonna have a bad experience at all staying in this hotel.

Very average - came for high tea, selection not comparable to Mount Nelson or Table Bay. Savory options almost non existent (offers burgers and curried chicken mini wraps for tea!!!) and service good but nothing spectacular.

When we mentioned we do not eat meat, they organised vegetarian stuff for us, which was nice but should already been thought as part of the offering!

They will not see us in a hurry again

We went for high tea on a Sunday. Very good offering. Good food selection and huge tea selection. Service good. The parking was the only problem - they don't allow high tea customers to use their parking, and the 2 closest V& A parking garages were full, so it meant a long walk with the kids. Despite that negative, good experience.
