I have been in the causality ward so many times that I coud own shares in the hospital and I could never find a problim with the service and the staf is friendly and the hospital is clean thay know what thay are doing tank you for your exsilant service trough all the years
Casualty was understaffed. The cafeteria is great though! Pediatrics ward is not great.
Just spend a few days there following a hip replacement. If you want to find fault then you will, but in my honest experience this hospital is top notch. Apart from facilities, cleanliness, etc the staff are all VERY friendly and curtious. Here I refer to cleaners, kitchen staff, porters, nurses, drs, etc. This assesment refers to both the ICU as well as ward 5 where I spend time recovering. A well deserved 5 star rating from me. A big thank you to everyone involved in the operation of a complex facility.
The paramedics who fetched me Christian and a black lady were very rude,as if they the ones who will pay the bill, the lady kept asking if my husband is abusing me playing a psychologist instead of focusing on the shortness of breath i had called them for, the staff who received me smelled of smoke. The doctor who helped me was so kind and helpful. Had a bad experience 👎👎👎,if one has a death wish linmed is a place to go
The receptionist in the paediatrics room (Dr Bruce) is really rude. She has a really bad attitude and rude. Avoid her if you can!! Dr Bruce is really great though.
One Excellent General Ward. Staff Dr and Contractors alike.
Terrible service from the staff at the ward, they are rude do not attend too patients and have a attitude constantly that is negative ,it is definitely not a calm and healing enviroment a elderly gentleman was left on the toilet for almost 30min unattended he was unable too lift himself and was contantly ringing for help, the nurse who left him there has yet too return too assist him she just left him and moved onthe room was stinking hot because no one thought too turn the aircon on for the patients so by the last visiting hours i asked them too assist they told me the aircon is on as if i was incapable of noticing the room tempretureafter coming with me eventually they discovered it was infact not running .after about 10min of searching they found the control panel which i thought they would know immediately where too find it seeing as they claimed too have switched it on that morning..they then fidnt so much as say sorry or ask how else they can assist they walked out in a huff as if it was our fault they arent doong their jobsmy question is if a room is excessively hot a patient is hot uncomfortable and irritable ,now you want too monitor their vitals in a tense enviroment and base a diagnosis on those resultsits truelly unacceptable for a first class institution too give bellow average service.i hope they up their game becauae in future i will go too glynnwood where they treat their clients like patients in need of assistance
In 4 years I spent 84 days there. I was priviliged to have the staff there treat me. They went out of their way to assist me.
All I can do is thank them for a job well done and believe that should I need them again, they will be there for me as before.
Thank you personell at Linmed General ward and Dr. Le Clus
The staff is super friendly & attentive ;) thanks ladies & gents for all the work you do!!! High 5! :)
Had family members there on a few occasions, not a happy place for me. The staff are ill disciplined, for a hospital you expect quite and a tranquil enviorment but not only are the staff rude the cleaning staff are noise making machines seen them talk very loudly across the wards to one another and not one nursing staff had balls to tell them to quiten down as there are patients who need to sleep to recuperate. Only time they listen to you is either you report them to management or you have a go at them directly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Joubert was amazing. Great experience
My son was born there in January 2012great hospital
Staff did not attend to my grandmother, she sat in the waiting room for two hours and then in triage for another hour before we walked out. We went to Glynwood, we were seen within 10mins where they diagnosed her with heart failure.
Staff at linmed were slow and in no rush to attend to a patient in clear chest pain and with shortness of breath
The best service ever for my son, Casualty ward was extremely helful. Dr C Anasnogtospoulis is one of the best doctors I ever dealt with. The Paediatric ward was simply the best. They were extremely helpful, caring and accommodating.
My father is old and confused, he is 90. To try and find out what is wrong with him after a fall and being admitted through casualty is impossible. The doctor will only talk to one family member, why? It is better in the whole family hears the news as people absorb different details according to perception of importance. Afraid? The doctors are just UNAVAILABLE. 2 days later - no information has been given. You must ensure you wait for the doctors to do their rounds, so you need to take time off work to fit in with them as they don't return your calls. Inconsiderate? Arrogant?
The sisters will not tell you anything, they use to 20 years ago. Why? too incompetent to give medical details? Staff not qualified?
The man who came to wheel my dad to a doctor DID NOT HELP him into the the wheelchair, I had too. Why? not in his job description? Beneath him? Lazy?
There is only one person at reception, during visiting hours to help all the family member. What poor planning and administration. Busiest time, fewest staff!!
Netacare deserves the negative opinions. Obviously the motto is make as much money without the least care given.
