I was admitted here for my appendix.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
I have been lucky enough to have had a really good experience here. Also spent 4nights here. And again.very happy with the service i received from the staff.

Two weeks ago I rated the hospital a 4star but yesterday's experience trying to get a wheelchair for my seriously ill dad left me frustrated and sick. The casualty porters are useless and apathetic. They sent me on a wild goose chase to the day clinic when everyone said it was casualty who kept wheelchairs. My dad who is in need of oxygen to breathe had to walk to and from the Respiratory clinic. Get new porters and staff who are helpful! Thank you to the security guards who tried to assist me.

Thank you to all the staff nd i mean from cleaners.From casualty while my dad was being attended to by nurses nd Drs i cud safely use the bathrums that were spotless.He got admitted to a clean ward nd the dr spent like 45mnts explainin to us wats to happen nd gettin as much info from dad.Until the last day of the 4 weeks he spent there we never ever had any reason to complain of dissatisfaction.Its evident passion is driving yall,God bless you all

My brother, was stabbed got to Helen Joseph at about 23:30 and there was a que of 6 people. One had a bleeding headwound and there was 1 nurse working at triage. She was chatting away with her ambulance buddies and doing her job in the slowest manner possible. After waiting for about 5 minutes with a stabbed person I went into advise the snailpaced nurse that my brother is an emergency case as he'd been stabbed! She and a security /porter politely told me that they were aware and I must wait for the people in the que as they also have gun shot wounded people in the que. When I enquire 2 young boys were sitting and bleeding out waiting to be seen! I ran around like a mad person trying to get the head nurse. When I found her she told me there's only 1 nurse as the other was on Lunch! She then came to assist as I was making a scene about these poor boys that were bleeding out and told to wait! Plse can we get these nurses to do the honorable thing and resign and allow people who have a calling to be nurses to do the job. DISGRACEFUL!!!!

Very busy hospital. Staff members are cool but you'll probably wait a while before getting help if it is not an emergency.

No I am not drugged, yes they deserve the five stars. I am currently in my bed at the hospital in a really clean ward. Yes the place needs some maintenance but they do their best with what they have. With the exception of one woman, who isnt even worth mentioning really, the staff is courteous, informative, patient and caring. I was really scared about coming here but am obviously glad that my fears were proven wrong. Thanks to the staff who took and are still currently taking good care of me. You are what i will be remembering most about my experience.

I can only praise Helen Joseph for excellent care from all the staff from the guys who kept the floors clean and helped me find my way around. Ward 18 was great, food tasty and eatable. Special thanks to all the Doctors and nurses who were amazing.
