If you're looking for a boutique hotel to stay not located on a vineyard but very central to the town centre and amazing wineries of Stellenbosch, then Majaka House is for you. When you walk in to this fabulous little hotel, you will immediately feel like you've entered an artists paradise, from the furniture and styling of the bar and Makaron restaurant, to the bold cobalt blue furniture around the pool and the grounds, what a treat it was to stay here. The staff are great and the rooms are fantastic. We couldn't have been happier to discover and book Majeka House!! :)

Clean, beautiful,quiet. Lovely facilities. Staff were warm,friendly. Pool, steam/sauna room. Very nice indoor area to have cocktails. Nice outside area to sit too. I am going again!

The Majeka house has a beautiful setting. Exquisite from entering into the reception area, being warmly welcomed with a refreshing tea and an afternoon treat surely sets the mood for what you are in for.

We stayed in a beatiful room with a private terrace, however as our stay was short the sleep experience was 5 star plus.

With an outstanding breakfast at Makron we could not fault the property at all.

Happy moments from start to finish, professional staff all round.

Very welcoming staff always wanting to help out. Food in restaurant very impressive. The interior design was at a very high and unique standard. Complimentary wine tasting at Waterford well worth doing (ask for a cellar tour too). Watch out for the cost of a driver organised by hotel, was charged R500 for two people and was with us for a short trip only and we spent an hour there only! Would definitely stay there again

Amazing boutique hotel! I loved everything about this place. The decor. The service. The food. The spa. Highly recommend it for foreigners wishing to discover the Stellenbosch vineyards or the Capetonian needing a break from the city. Absolutely splendid.
