Shocking experience!!! After dinner I had my sons visiting in our room only to be told that they could not be there. The owner was extremely impolite about this and said it was not allowed as it was a guesthouse. Clearly the irony of it being a GUEST lodge must have escaped her. After paying R9000 for my stay I do not appreciate being treated like some backpacker ready to sneak people into my room. Mind blowing that the owners feel entitled to treat people this way

Incredible accommodation, located right on the edge of Stellenbosch with a short drive in to town and ideally located for a drive back to the airport. Beautiful, spacious rooms and stunning pool area with amazing views and a peaceful vibe. Excellent breakfast but most of all amazing staff, particularly Monica who rescued our holiday after we were let down badly by another hotel on the last night of our trip by accommodating us last minute and letting us use the facilities the following day prior to our evening flight!!

Relaxed atmosphere, peaceful area, quiet pool. Compared to the excellent alternatives it will have not the maximum amount of stars.

Its a nice place with great views and a nice breakfast served by very professional people. The honeymoon suite is nice with a very nice bath. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it is overpriced. R7000 for 2 nights is a bit crazy for what you get.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The GM Michel was just superb he was so accommodating, friendly, helpful, insightful and welcoming. The wild mushroom felt like home away from home. The food was delicious and the room was beautiful. We would definitely go back any opportunity we get

Outstanding 5-star Stellenbosch accommodation in a gorgeous olive grove and vineyard setting. This boutique hotel screams luxury, yet the stuff remain warm and gracious. An absolute must visit if you're travelling through the Western Cape and looking for Cape Winelands accommodation.
