Decent spares shop, but a few of the assistants have no idea what they're talking about. They straight up lie about the specs and requirements of a certain car, especially older cars, and try to convince you to buy a product that is not correct for your car.

I would still go here, because they stock a wide variety of spares and tools, but go in knowing what you need with the exact part number. If possible take in a sample so that you can be sure they give you the correct replacement part.

Hit the like button. Probably the best midas. I buy here alot. Staff are reliable and helpful. They give you good recommendations and always giving the correct parts. Prices are slightly higher then our average spares. Shop is often empty so no queues.Hit the like button.

I've been to 5 Midas in search of products this week. This has been the most impressive in cape town.
Nice layout and flow. Clean. Good range of product. Size is still the only negative about this store.

Extremely convenient, great prices, good selection of common parts. Rarer items one may have to search further afield for. The store isn't open for long enough on a Saturday and closed on a Sunday which makes it difficult to access if you're busy during the day at work.

Athlone branch never has stock of anything I need and it's not even specialised applications. Go to Economic Motor Spares or even EMS which is smaller compared to Midas group and you find the parts there. Products are also over priced. They should rather be a hardware store not motor car parts suppliers. The Claremont branch has what you need yet Athlone belongs to same group. Put some fire crackers under the management's ass. It's not a family business you running it's a branch of a group. Doesn't Midas audit their franchises.
Out of stock on most parts is unacceptable if the other branches have stock and even smaller spares shops.
