Really some of the best burgers in town! Good for dinner with family or friends. Does get a bit loud at some points. Won't recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner.

If you are looking tasty burgers and beer, Hudsons has a great selection of both.
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with a side salad and a tasty cold beer to wash it all down with. The service was friendly and quick and I'd be happy to check them out again.
I believe they have three or four other locations, which only proves they are up to a good thing.

Lush burgers and friendly staff. What more could you ask for. They have a good selection of vegetarian bits and their meat is ethically sourced so a win from every angle.
Lost of flavour to the food and I cannot fault it.
The manager came out to advise us on where to go throughout our trip, she came up with some good recommendations and was very helpful.response / report this review -

Very casual atmosphere. Go here for burgers and crazy cocktails. Price is quite high looking at about R200 each excluding drinks
My experience: got there at happy hour (half off beers and starters) which was nice.
Waitress got a bit too slow towards the end but she was really friendly and before it started getting busy service was fast.
Starter was delicious. Burger was dry and tasted mangy - like it was off. Cheese was dry and also looked and tasted old and sour. Chips also tasted old and stale. Dessert was rich (deep fried oreos) but very nice.
All in all a good experience, I will give it another chance - I just hope the food is fresher the next time.response / report this review -

I loved eating here and we had made it just in time for 'happy hour'. All the waiters and waitresses were extremely helpful and a special shout out to Sandra, she was a rock star. I'd recommend it to anyone that loves burgers and large cocktails. The best! :)

Slow food service for an empty restaurant at lunch time. Disco fries were way too crispy for something supposed to be topped with melted cheese. My "toasted" bun was completely charred As a keen Hudson's Stellenbosch supporter I'm not at all impressed with the so-called "flagship" restaurant. Probably won't be seeing me for lunch anytime soon.

Some of the best burgers around. This branch is the smallest but sure do not disappoint. Each time we enjoy eating here. Love the staff, nice selection of craft beer and yummy food. don't even start on the insane milkshakes go see for yourself!
