The staff were friendly and the food was adequate, but not excellent. The coffee is fine but not great. The vibe is good; nice and chilled, with some refreshing winds coming down from the mountain. Would recommend if you want an easy time in a chilled setting.

The dozen or so cockroaches by our outdoor table was off-putting.
The inside is super hot in summer.
The food is average. It's not bad but I receive better quality at friends houses.
The staff are wonderful.
It's definitely worth going to for drinks outside at the end of the day.response / report this review -

Food was average, and overpriced for what you got. It all sounded so good but was actually a let down. Service was pretty terrible. Our waitress was super friendly, but took ages to even take our drinks orders, then even longer to take the food order, and flat out forgot to bring our dessert. We had to get up twice to find out what was keeping her. Then it took another age to get the bill. For the taste, price, service, and all round experience, I wouldn't go back.

Very cosy atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax or work. The fruit cocktails are great and both savory and sweet breakfast will win you over. The staff is very nice and attentive. A perfect morning spot!

Disappointing experience. 100 bucks for fish and chips and having the fish be old and overcooked is just not acceptable. My wife and her friend had the ravioli pasta special which they appeared to be more satisfied by. I'd been here many years ago and found the experience to be underwhelming. Given their reputation, I thought I'd try it again and I'm now solidly against advising anyone to eat here. It's just not good.

A perfect place to have a nice caffe while working on your laptop. Awesome view of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Can be busy in the evening.

Delicious in every single way. Very nice place. I recommend the Chicken Burger and the house lemonade. The variety isn't that big, but everything I had from the menu was very nice
