The food was good ( better than expected from looking at the menu) which was shocking (not good quality and dirty,i didnt have drink pages in mine,and my bf didnt have the seafood page in his) lovely friendly waitress though 😀

Food was good but smokers everywhere and despite signs and laws of SA prohibiting smoking under a roof, management do not put their foot down and allow people light up and spoil the otherwise pleasant atmosphere for non smokers despite proven health hazards. We had a table of twelve and will not be back. Pity.

Whilst other restaurants in the vicinity have extremely irrational hours at which their kitchens are open - especially during peak holiday times, Gringos is reliable and wants to do business. The food is very good - especially the prawns. The service is quite effective; even in very busy times. The cleanliness is however problematic - tables are not cleared regularly and the floor is quite dirty with serviettes, etc. The menu is comprehensive and well priced. When in Kleinmond, stop by Gringos.
