The hotel was quiet alright. Very friendly staff working there. The parking isn't free, you have to pay a small fee of R60 per day. They have a nice private pool overlooking the beach for those days when you don't want to go the beach. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, restaurants and other activities.

I felt like their breakfast could do with a hit of improving. It wasn't up there with the best I've had in most hotel.

Staff are very kind and friendly, the hotel does not have a gym but they have a spur downstairs which is great for a tasty meal any time of the day. Excellent buffet breakfast. The pool is nice and clean and can swim anytime of the day. Overall a great place to stay if you are very busy and need a good place to be in and out of.

My family and I stayed in a sea facing room, it was a wonderful, breath-taking experience! Very friendly staff, all our requests were met including the bar fridge that was requested prior our arrival. Breakfast was also great, nicely prepared
Watching the sunrise from our room was really amazing, best holiday ever!😎

Always a lovely stay, along the beach, within walking distance to Ushaka Marine and eThekwini Beach entertainment. Friendly staff that will leave no stone unturned to make your stay a comfortable one. They even made our next stop reservation at Stay Easy Pietermaritzburg. Thank you!!

This was a big mess! . At the time of our family vacation stay. There was construction going on in the hotel. The noise wakes you up in the morning around 9:00am We Had to be moved 3 times to a different hotel rooms. When We first checked in the hotel. They informed us they gave our original room We booked back in March 2017 away to someone else. They put us in a smaller room Even though We paid for the bigger one. We complained about it. So they moved us to the second room. In that room the carpets were not that clean. It cause to Me to have allergies and a hay fever. They moved us again to another t room. It was not in working condition.

They didn't check it before they moved us. It had broken toilet. A sink with no hot water, As well also the shower no hot water. And a broken closet door hanging off. The maintenance people came a total of 4 times to fixed the issues. The fix one thing. Another problem happen.

They fix another problem. The other issue repeated itself. They finally moved us to one of their sisters hotel. It was a night and day difference between the two. We had a better experience at the sister hotel. But this was towards at the end of our 10 day trip. Nevertheless the room was smaller that we originally paid for.

They just transferred our credits to the sister hotel. And gave us what our credit would match up with and what was available at the time. This was going on during South Africa Spring break. So I didn't even get into all the small children making noise in the hallways late at night with no adult supervision. It was a bad experience for Me.

It was Me and My 15 month daughter first time visiting Africa. The noise woke and kept her up. She couldn't sleep. We had to send her to stay at My Wife parents house to stay with them. My Wife is South African.

It was the hotel responsibility to inform us there were doing renovation and adding additional hotel rooms before we got there. Instead one of the the hotel managers told us the construction will be going on for 2 or 3 months and there is nothing can really be done about it. Really? 🤦‍♂️ Anyway if I go back to stay at a hotel in South Africa. I know where not to stay.

    Beach front.
I stayed in a sea facing room with two double beds. I was traveling for business but it was absolutely pleasurable staying at this hotel. Buffet meals mean you have to jog the beachfront mile. Well illuminated area, patrons seemed safe enough to beach walk at night. Friendly, helpful staff. Great souvenir stalls all around.

    Definitely returning with my family.

I was happy with following: check in, room service, and check out. Dining services need a lot of improvement. The staff is not friendly and go out of their to make you fell unwelcome

I was booked here by default so the standard is not what I would normally go for, it doesn't smell like a hotel and the ice bucket was in the bathroom. It is great for people that are backpacking though. Loved the sea view and sounds the waves make. The complimentary cookies were great

I had a fridge much smaller than a bar fridge. Other units have no fridge. No DSTV of your own, thus no movie info The 3 stars is for the great food buffet! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Friendly and professional staff really impressed. Rooms are modest but well maintained. Undercover parking limited and rather cramped but a definate must. If you don't get a seaside view don't despair as the night time view makes up for it. The area is not safe for the unwary travellar especially if you move away from the seafront street.
