  Famous watering hole now closed Thursday evenings indefinitely for all members of the public after 10 years of operation. Open only for backpackers and temporary stayovers in chalets

  Always a great community and friendly vibe. Owners are hands on and awesome people. Good for private 'hippie' vibe parties and a good back packers accommodation.

  This is one of those gems but it is for the taste of people who want to have a beer from a quart bottle, a great simple meal, a sit around a fire and a social chat. It is essentially a back packers with modest but clean accommodation with Thursday night being most popular.

  What a gem! Shapes of Africa is a wonderful rustic backpackers nestled in Mt. Moreland and should not be missed. Drinks are reasonably priced, the food is delicious (ask about their Thursday buffet dinners), staff are great, and there's a fire pit at night!
  
  The best part by far though is the communal atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and it's impossible to leave there without making a new friend!
