Worst place to park EVER for voortrekker monument. Organisers are USELESS
Gets too packed at times mostly during holidays or so. But it still got that thing that makes u wana go back there on a slow Saturday with them gents..
Very good place I enjoyed being there.
Cool trees lots of good stuff people
Last when i was there, the place was not clean n toilet not working, its a nice place bt they care with us.
It's an average place, but too much crowded.
The Staff is Arrogant and Unhelpful, the place or so called venue is a mess all over. There is broken glass and rubbish all around the roads and places you want to sit down the pool area is a disaster. I will never ever go back there again it is Unsafe and not family friendly, if you are lucky enough and have found a small spot to sit down and have a picnic you will be troubled by someone asking for some food, money or whatever and they refuse to take “No” for an answer…
The Fountains Valley as well as the Groenkloof Nature Reserve have become so unsafe that many people, including me, have stopped going there because the chances of getting mugged are very high.
The place consists of statues South African heroes and heroines of our liberation struggle.
Camped here a while ago. Nice and clean.
Great venue for a myriad of events and activities, nice to just go an chill, get away from the bustle and unwind in nature with its rivers and bird sounds.
Family and friend camping , pic nic and partying in the wild. Lovely place to relax
It's refreshing and out of the busy city life.
Nature rule this place.
You can have a picnic with family, friends, colleagues etc
There is a braai place, swimming pool
Didn't know that there is an entrance fee, R32 a head. Otherweis nice place to have a get together and braai. its clean too
I remember back in late 90's when we used to hire a mini bus to travel to Fountains Valley We literally spent all of our summer school holidays there, every experience was just pure awesomeness.
I recently went back there with my fiance and my daughter, the place brings back a lot of memories I must say. Fountain Valley rock
