We were booked into Ezulwini for a team building trip on the 16, 17 and 18th February 2018 and was extremely satisfied with the service we received. I read a few reviews and was a bit concerned and didn't know what to expect when we arrive.

However, when we arrived we walked into a lovely clean chalet.
We went our for the day and when we came back we were greeted by friendly cleaner who gave us new sheets, towels and soap.

I've learnt never to believe everything you read, rather just go and experience it for yourself.

I attended a team building trip on the 16th,17th and 18th of February and I must say I was very satisfied with the hospitality.The staff were very friendly and the rooms were extremely clean,before I attended I read some reviews and was a bit worried about the conditions of the place especially the review about the used condom found in 1 of the room draws, lol the first thing I done when I got there was check the draws and to my surprise there was not even a speck of dust, so if you wanting to have a family reunion,a get together or even a work related trip I would definitely recommend this place.

Please don't just read negative reviews and believe them,these are people who either want to be treated as kings and queens or people who have personal issues with the owners of the place.

I first visited this resort in 2012. To date we have been there thrice and nothing has changed. This last time we booked for a family get together and had +-12 chalets. The place is falling apart with no maintenance being done. Appliances like stoves, fridges, kettles and microwaves do not work. We had complaints of dirty sheets, shower doors that are broken, door handles that are damaged to such an extent that the guest cut her finger on it.
The rooms are not cleaned properly. A mother with a 5 month old was badly bitten by spiders found in the bed.
The amount of money spent in comparison to the service received was atrocious. We will definitely not be going back and will ensure that we advise all of the dump this place is

Spent dis weekend at Ezulwini with plus minus 100 family members..Sad to say the place needs some serious revamping. The only thing that was looking neat n clean was the curtains. Room carpets n lounge suites urgently need washing.Rats in the hall area, spiders n lotsa ants in the apartments n lets not forget da many appliances that were not in working order. The indoor 'heated' pool was ICE cold, kids cudnt even enjoy that amenity. From my last visit plus minus 10 years ago, the place has really deteriorated. Has the potential to be a lovely holiday resort if management would upkeep and maintain the place.

First the pictures as deceiving. Buildings are not maintained. Decor is dated. My kids enjoyed the activities and the facility. But we went to Ballito for two days, had a seaview, was a walk away from the beach and the pricing was less then Ezulwini. The contrast in facilities is big.

Would not recommend. Very poor service and apartments. Most appliances don't work. Has a jamaat khana which is the only positive I found.

For the past couple years we have been coming here and it just get worse, they charge for everything, maintenance of the Entertainment is Zero, unfriendly staff.
Basically it is a very neglected resort, Will not recommend anyone to stay here

The resort does not provide for what you pay for.
Their website is misleading;
The pictures of the rooms / self-catering accomodation does not look like that at all.
Their prices is very high for what you get, it's very old and not well maintained.
Our Braai fell apart, the braai thongs was broken, the stake knifes was broken. The house inside, you could see where they fixed things or made changes and never covered it up well.
The shower door was broken. Sleeper couch not of good quality and gross.
The indoor pool is ice cold, and there is strict times when women are allowed to swim. This is however not advertised on their website at all that they mainly cater for Muslims.
The hotwater was off when we got there and every bath / shower we had to wait 5 minutes for a bit of hot water.
The play area is very old and again not very well maintained. Overall the quality of the resort is not worth what you pay for. We asked for our money back, but due to the fact that it's long weekend, we didn't have anywhere else to go.

Eish. This place was a mistake. Room has no windows. One rickety fan for the whole unit.

And really not up to par with similarly priced resorts in the area.

I paid good money to bring my family here.

What an anti climax.

Worst part

We came here to get away from the noisy city.

It's more noisy here!

Music and partying through the night. And no supervision of patrons by the staff.

All in all I'm disappointed with my choice of coming here. My friends warned me, but I thought let me give it a go.

So unless there's a mindset change from the owners of Ezulwini Give it a miss.

Really decent accommodation. Clean, neat and well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom chalet with all the facilities and appliances in good condition. Lots of activities to keep the kids and the adults entertained (horse rides - great for early mornings and late afternoons, bicycles, tennis courts, volleyballl, soccer grounds,table tennis,trampolines and jungle gym. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Ample space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves while benefitting from the fresh healthy environment. Board games available for good family fun too. Pleasant staff and management. On site Jamaat khaana (prayer facilities) make it an even better holiday accommodation for muslims. Convenient little store on site too. Beautiful 15 min scenic drive to Royal Natal Conservation park, the main attraction site for daily hiking trips.
