It looks a little old school but its a great place to stay, a 10 min walk from the beautiful waterfront (don't walk it alone at night if you're a woman).
It has very good breakfast, a beautiful view if you take a room with sea view which I recommend, its right in front of a small square where early birds and runners cross each other.
Owners are friendly and honest and go out of their way. Has a nice honesty bar with beer and coco water.

We enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Inn. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Artistic decor and stylish finishes. The breakfast was delicious. The owners are friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Located close to the Waterfront, and a few minutes walk from the open bus pickup point. There are many great restaurants in the area.

A beautiful location right on the water with an amazing staff that not only provides the best breakfast and coffee in Cape Town, but who will go out of their way to be incredibly accommodating !

Lovely guesthouse on the shore of the ocean.
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon walk along the paved pathway all the way to the V&A Waterfront and back past the guesthouse to thlighthouse and back - watching the setting sun along our way.
Such a beautiful part of our country where things seems to be working as it should.
The Dolphin Inn is a beautifully appointed guesthouse with beautiful views of the ocean.
We would certainly return.

Excellent location. Owners are fantastic and very helpful with knowledge of things to do and places to go. Easy walking to the V&A Waterfront or the the beaches. Plenty of free on street parking right out front of the guesthouse.

This place is wonderful! Very clean and quiet rooms. Sandra and Mullen were so friendly and accommodating. They answered all questions and even booked tours.This is definitely a place I'll return to when I come back to Cape Town.
