I love Bean There, I frequent their store in Joburg and I make a point to visit their Cape Town store whenever I'm in Cape Town. Their coffee is locally roasted, sourced from all over Africa and generally very yummy.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The manager is happy for us to collect coffee in our containers which is awesome! Best value Fair Trade coffee - the Tanzanian coffee is particularly nice.

I love this place, which happens to be South Africa's first and only roaster of Fairtrade coffee from Africa. They show that serving a great product whilst taking care of people and the planet is very much possible.

Is that the smell of coffee. It was a home from home while I worked in the city. Good place for coffee takeaways but I wouldn't really recommend it for sit downs.

Conscious coffee. They know where the coffee comes from, and supplies it with pride. Great service, superb coffee and the location is perfectly situated in the centre of the city.

Whilst visiting them I've realised why they are closed over weekends, it is because they need to give the other coffee shops, in the surrounding area, a chance too.

Definitely one of my top favourite coffee shops in Cape Town.

Not only do they have great coffee, they have the friendliest staff and THE BEST CARROT CAKE! Now I kind of regret writing this review because now I'm craving a slice, AGAIN!
