So many beer options and such a great place to hang out and watch the game. Food is also great. They even have the new trend of tablesife cooking on a hot stone! You can cook a steak, or bratwurst on this hot stone at your table! So cool

Wow this place was awesome! Build your own Bloody Mary bar, live DJ, amazing breakfast, and a mimosa in pretty much any flavor! The coconut almond French toast was amazing!

Can't wait to come back. Be sure to get here early. You'll for sure have to wait for a table.

Awesome selection of beers (five pages!) from all over the world. Flights available to help you sample as many of the beers on offer as possible, plus the staff are very knowledgeable as well. Bar snacks and food are on point, I can fully recommend the fried green tomatoes, and we'll priced. I would take a detour to come to this place again and I would definitely stay a lot longer this time. Drop in and say hi, don't miss out!

The beer selection has always been top notch, but service is lacking. Wings are great and the other food I've had is okay. I can't go during the summer because it's way too hot inside, but spring and fall are always nice.

I used to come here pretty regularly in college during years 2009-2011. Since then I saw the place grow, expand some, get more staff and address many needs. I loved this place in college and decided to go back recently. However, I was disappointed. Their menu items changed, the chicken tenders were smaller and came out cold. The hamburger was not cooked medium but well done to overdone. You can’t smoke your cigars in the main area anymore and enjoy a beer and a cigar. It’s sad to see a beloved place I loved go up then down. Hopefully I just hit it at an off night. Also no real specials on beer. They have some decent prices but no 2 for ones.

Historical location on Cobb Lane with original stone walls in the bar. Impressive, diverse menu. Incredible selection of draft beers, both International and local. Friendly service. Very casual. Trivia contest every Tuesday night.

It was my birthday and my favorite Irish pub had closed down. I searched all over Birmingham for that small tavern feel with good stout beer choices. I found J. Clyde. The list of beer, wine, mead, cider, and cocktails is extensive, so whatever you're craving to drink you'll find something to suit you and you may find new favorites like I did. The food is excellent as well! For an appetizer my wife and I had the sauerkraut balls, which were absolutely delicious so don't let the name fool you, order these little balls of goodness and enjoy. For my entree I had the J. Clyde burger and replaced the goat cheese with beer cheese spread and of course added bacon because well everything is better with bacon. Burgers here can be cooked to order so mine was a delightful medium. The beer cheese spread is like a house made pimento cheese, and for those that like that sort of thing this is as good as it gets. We shared a chocolate bread pudding for dessert which as I recall was very rich and delicious, although by this time I had enough stout in me to float the USS Ronald Reagan so my memory is a bit hazy on that point. The service was excellent. Our server, though his name escapes me, was one of the most engaging and knowledgeable I have ever had. 100% will be back for my next birthday if not sooner. Thank you very much!

Saturday 6:30pm got a table outside right away; service was fine; food was good; beer selection was enormous, but waitress was knowledgeable and helped. She brought out samples when requested. Couldn't ask for a better experience really.

Like beer? Cause they have all the beer. Food isn't too bad either.
Can't wait for the patio area to re-open.
