We stayed in one of the "themed" rooms, which was a lot of fun. The rooms are clean and relatively quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the theme just added some fun things to pass the time in the room (comic books and record players in ours, for example). The staff is very helpful and the one issue we did have was resolved within minutes of calling the desk (fire alarm low battery started beeping at 1am one of our nights). Easy walking to many restaurants and breakfast at The Corner Office is exceptional compared to other hotels' breakfasts.
Made suite reservation for my Husbands Birthday, upon arrival we were given the wrong room (standard room). Went to the front to let hem know the room I was given was he wrong one, they told me the suite I booked was already taken and it was a mistake. Was told he only room open was a hyper theme room(not a suite) and that is all they can do for me. When going to the room it was not at all what I paid almost 300 dollars for. When I called up front to let them know that we were not happy due to the mistakes the manager then told me I can get a standard room and or I can leave the hotel. Hallways were loud at night, security was called due to the noise. There’s also no free breakfast for the already high priced that was charged. Only thing good about the hotel was the view, will not be returning. Bad customer service
Our room was cramped. It was $36/night to have our car there. Formal dining is the breakfast option. The elevators are small and slow. Everything just seemed really tight, even the lobby. Each floor has its own theme in keeping with the theater district which is interesting at first, but kind of dorky after the novelty wears off.
Great location down town. Lots to do and see within walking distance. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly staff and a nice fitness facility. No hot tubs or tub in our room. When I go back to Denver I'll try to find a better place.
Loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We could hear the people in the rooms around us. Every word, every laugh, every step. Spend your money somewhere else. If we hadn’t prepaid, we would have moved. When you can hear a suitcase being zipped, $200 a night is over paying. Then they add another $40 a night to park. And most of all, don’t be fooled by the pictures on their website. It’s old and the unique themed rooms do not make up for being woke up at 7 am by the lady next door talking about her son’s broken arm and her sister-in-law having four girls and they were so hoping for a boy. Ugh!!!
Place is AMAZING! Their themed rooms are fun and different than anything else you have stayed at. Even their standard rooms are fun. The restaurant attached has really good food. The staff pretty much bends over backwards to make sure your stay is up to par with your expectations. My only complaint is the lack of a bathtub. Only a shower. This place is also within walking distance of DOZENS of places to eat and shop. Stayed here during a work trip, but almost felt like a vacation. ☺️
The staff in the lobby is always helpful and nice. I always enjoy the themes on the different floors. The location is the best you could ask for downtown. I've been here multiple times, and plan to come back in the future.
Room was clean, friendly service throughout the room and good location downtown. The decor in my opinion is different but fun as I think it is like a pop culture theme. Fine hotel though. My one knock on the place is my room is literally in the elevator lobby area on my floor. There is a bank of four elevators and right across from the elevator doors right in the center is my room door. Maybe the worst room location I have ever seen in a hotel. I like a room close to the elevator but this is a bit extreme. It was fine though. Overall good hotel.
Finding the hotel using any GPS is a breeze. It is clearly marked and there is room to pull a vehicle into while checking in. Parking is not included and is pretty pricey. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a pop art motif, and each floor has its own theme. The room was clean, but unbelievably small for the price charged. The climate control unit was very loud, and made it difficult to sleep. Staff were very polite and courteous. 3 of 5 for small room size at a high price.
Professional staff who are willing to help and accommodate your every need. I really enjoyed learning the different themes of each floor. The room was clean and decorated in a modern and tasteful way. The views aren't great from this hotel but the location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The attached restaurant, The Corner Office, had delicious food and fast service. Overall - very pleased with my stay.
It was fun! This spot is pretty hip & very young in spirit. The decoration was full of musical references & pop culture
Our room was very comfortable & we loved the bed & pillows. It was very clean & all of the staff was very nice & helpful.
The only negatives were that the elevators are in an area that quickly becomes congested and valet parking was really expensive.
I would stay again & self park. I'll be back!
Nice hotel in perfect space. Rooms are carefully designed with common amenities. Bathroom is a little small but has room enough to do what you need. Staff is excellent and restaurant in nice. Will recommend to friends.
The Curtis is a nice hotel with each floor having a theme. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the check-in process smooth. The room was a fairly standard hotel room with very comfortable beds, mini fridge, and a nice bathroom featuring a large shower. I parked my car in the parking garage below the hotel, which was $37/day. It is not a private lot, and is shared among guests and non-guests, and I thought the price for self-parking was a little high. Overall, I found the experience very refreshing and enjoyable.
A wonderful hotel with a cool theme. Checking in and out was easy, and parking underground was convenient. You'll be within walking distance of the convention center and other downtown locations. My only issue was with my particular room being directly across from the elevators; I could hear everyone coming and going on that floor.
Staff were very helpful with our early arrival. We were able to store or bags and work in the lobby. Each floor of the hotel is themed, giving the place a lot of charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's been a pleasant stay and we will likely come here again.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around
The Curtis is unique and beautifully decorated with amazing art. The different themed floors are fun. The cookies at check-in are delicious and freely given. The staff is professional, fun, kind and very helpful. The location is great, and we had a great stay in comfortable, clean rooms. Be aware that there is a hefty charge for parking. We were lucky to find street parking right by the hotel that's free on the weekends. Read the signage carefully though because of street sweeping schedule and towing if you interfere.
