I love Young's Jersey Dairy! There is so many things to do at Young's Dairy. There is putt putt, batting cages, a petting zoo, a restaurant, and an ice cream parlor. Oh there is also a souvenir shop. I went with my wife and baby. My baby loved petting the animals and the ice cream. I loved the cheese curds! I got all the different flavors of the cheese curds because I couldn't decide. I would recommend going to the sit down restaurant there past the putt putt golf. This place is a very good value for your dollar. I got so much food I had left overs for days. We got corn bread, two sides, and then our main meal. It was definitely worth it! At the ice cream shop I got a root beer float, which was amazing! My baby got the cow patty ice cream which sounds gross but it was quite tasty.
If you're looking for a fun family experience I would recommend going here.
Oh man was the ice cream good! I'll have to go back and try their cheese curds; I can't wait. My son really enjoyed seeing the goats and cows, it was all a lot of fun. We also cut down or own Christmas tree! What an experience.
This is a wonderful place to take your family and make a day of fun. There are two different places to eat. The farm store is more sandwich and ice cream. The Golden Jersey Inn is more upscale and meals are ordered from a waiter or waitress. They have a wonderful selection of foods. The make their own cheese. You can putt at two different Udders and Putters miniature golf. Use batting cages. There’s a golfing range as well. Visit and let animals such as pigs cows and lambs. You MUST feed the goats they are hilarious. It’s a wonderful place for family get togethers. It is very clean. Great place!
I don't know where to start with this place. There is a reason this place is packed most of the year. They offer plenty of year round fun as well as seasonal stuff for people to enjoy. The restaurant is usually pretty good as far as food and service goes. The best part in my opinion is of course their awesome ice cream. The ice cream will never let you down here. Love this place and will continue to come.
The ice cream is fantastic. The food is just ok but we only go for ice cream and activities. Although the deep fried cheese curds are good. My kids love all of the activities such as seeing the animals, going down the big slide, ridding in the 55 gallon drums pulled by a small tractor. They also have mini golf and batting cages. They usually have other seasonal activities too. The fall ones are my favorite.
Excellent place for food, fun & family to spend a couple of hours or the day! The ice cream of course is the highlight! Lots of flavors to choose from and it's all delicious. They serve lunch and dinner but my husband and I especially like their breakfast. The putt putt is fun as it's all the other things they have to do. There are also numerous festivals, craft shows and car shows throughout the year. I highly recommend a visit if you have never gone You won't be disappointed!!
Delicious Food! Had the Hot Shot Roast Beef and Gravy with lumpy potatoes with the gravy on them as well. A little skimpy on the meat but the flavor Outstanding! The waitress Dione was a natural. Despite how busy she was, didn't miss a beat. The food and service is definitely worth a visit. Give it 2 thumbs up!
This is just an excellent experience for younger kids. We've taken our little guy here for the last few years in a row and he has a blast each time. Add the tractor rides back to the pumpkin patch, great food, clean bathrooms, petting animals and don't forget the awesome ice cream, cheese and other dairy products.. this place is a great pit stop on your weekend travels!
We had the BEST dinner experience here We arrived not knowing that they closed in less than 30 minutes. Not wanting to keep the staff after hours, and not having an issue with eating in the car, my husband and I (we drove up from Cincinnati), got our order to go and ate in the parking lot.
The kitchen staff absolutely hooked us up. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and they gave him a double breast. And my god the fries Hot, fresh, and abundant. Even though we didn't order two dinners, just sandwiches, we still got all of the dinner extras. Coleslaw, applesauce, and sweet potato bread, as well as the sides that came with our meal. And since I had a birthday coupon, this feast cost a whopping $11.00. We sat in the parking lot and absolutely pigged out. It was awesome. We will definitely make the trip for dinner again.
Hands down the BEST ICE CREAM AROUND, especially the cotton candy. They are usually busy, but have a lot of staff scooping ice cream. See the goats and cows and sometimes baby pigs for free or buy some feed to let them eat from your hands. You can also play on the tractors or wagon for free, or take pictures with the various cow statues. There are also batting cases, a large slide, a toddler play area, and a few other things for an extra cost. But definitely get some ice cream!!
Its impossible for someone not to love Youngs. Not only is the ice cream some of the best you will find anywhere, its an amazing place to have fun. Barnyard animals, play tractors, mini golf, batting cages and so much more. This place is in a constant state of improvement. Every time I come here There's something new. Fantastic place all around.
Brought my 14 year old daughter here for the first time since she was little. Used to really like the food, but not so much now. The food was subpar, but I figured it's not really what they are known for, so I didn't worry about it too much when I threw away about half of what we ordered. When we went to get ice cream, I figured this is where they would shine. Boy was I wrong. The ice cream was okay, definitely not something to be excited about. I have definitely had better at many other places that make their own ice cream. As a matter of fact, half the sundaes got thrown away too. The only reason this isn't a one star is, the service was fast and they do have fun family activities.
An Ohio classic you just have to experience! The amazing home made ice cream draws me in but I could spend all day there. They have it all from a sit down restaurant, a quick bite/ice cream area, putt putt, batting cages, petting zoo, and so on. Great for the family and better for the Ice cream enthusiast.
We had my baby's second birthday party here today and while the place itself is a lot of fun, I was less than impressed with Angela and Destiny. I've talked to Angela a couple times over the last few months, the first time I had emailed her a month prior to reserve the party room. When I mentioned this when I called she never apologized or even seemed to care. She just seemed annoyed to be talking to me to be honest. We arrived about 20 minute before our party arrived, no one was there to great us, the room (which was actually a garage) was hard to find and still locked. The girl that opened it acted like she was doing us a favor to open it 5 minutes before the party began (we had guests waiting outside at this point). Destiny was our "hostess" today and she literally sat in the corner and scowled and looked at her phone the whole time. Near the end she very rudely asked for the payment for the room (essentially kicking us out) including a tip which I did not leave because she literally didn't do anything. The food was just okay and overpriced (one of my fries was cold in the middle). The only reason I even gave two stars is because my daughter really enjoyed the animals and the little slides. It's a fun place to visit but definitely would not recommend to host a birthday party.
