Cedarville is an incredible school with incredible people. All of the staff care about your student and only want them to thrive. Everyone is on fire for Jesus, and honestly, the campus feel like home. 10/10

Nice campus but beware if your student has ADHD or any kind of learning difference as do my student. We went for a campus visit because on their website they state that they have a disability department that lend support for learning differences. However, the impression I got from talking to the director that provide these services was dealing with these kind of learning difference is a nuisance to them. She handled me as if I was a nuisance as I was trying to get some idea of what support "The Cove" provides. Apparently it is fantastic in helping students involve in athletics because it helps the school look good but anyone else I guess it must be how much they like you or don't like you. Was very disappointed in that aspect of our visit.

I always like visiting this campus. The only issue is the lake in the middle of the campus. It adds to the enjoyably view but the walk around the lake to get from one side to the other. The staff on campus is nice and frendly. The food is normal college food bland. The pizza however is good.

A cult; an illegitimate excuse for a credible university, preparing attendees for little more than a volunteer position at a Baptist church.

Bigoted and hateful, white-washed students are coerced to believe everything outside of conservative evangelicalism is from Satan. University policies place higher importance on attending church than attending classes. Even the most concrete, secular academic subjects are skewed and misconstrued to fit their narrow-minded agenda. For instance, psychology courses speculate whether old testament characters had mental illnesses, instead of researching and applying knowledge of mental illness to treat people in this millennium. Faculty and staff members lack legitimate academic credentials to teach any subject other than the Bible.

The university handbook, or 'covenant', in their words, is nothing shy of a misogynistic, sex obsessed, oppressive rule book penned by paranoid men and women who desperately want to control and mislead young adults during a time of their lives when self-exploration and expression should be encouraged. The handbook outlines 'evils' that could lead to students' dismissal from the university, such as parking in the wrong gender labeled parking lot, embracing for more than 3 seconds, or listening to music that could be played on a Top 40 radio station. Students are forced to confide in 'godly' mentors about personal struggles, in order to receive discipline for said struggles, as outlined by the student handbook. This condemning atmosphere does not allow students to develop into functioning adults, leaving students naïve, paranoid, judgmental, and sheltered.

This university, plainly, should not exist in the 21st century. Its policies are archaic, its curriculum is null of modern fact, logic, or reason, and the campus atmosphere of self-righteous facades riddled with crippling religion-induced guilt and self loathing is disgusting. Attending Cedarville University to receive a well-rounded liberal arts education is absolutely ludicrous, to the point where one would be better off foregoing university all together.

As a student who transferred from this convent to an internationally accredited research institution, I can confidently say a Cedarville education is the equivalent to no education at all. Only after I left did I realize how misinformed, unaware, ignorant, and poorly educated I was. Cedarville did not foster personal growth so much as it did religious deception, Cedarville did not encourage critical thought so much as it did blind conformity, and Cedarville did not prepare me for the future so much as it did set me 5 paces behind. Leaving this university was the most well-informed decision I ever made on a personal and professional level.

In summary, if one would like to serve hot meals at a Baptist church on Sunday afternoons, Cedarville is the school to attend. However, to receive a well-rounded education to prepare for the professional world, one should invest 4 years in a credible university.

Fantastic new-style campus. Recently renovated spaces, and an amazing music center. Gonna confess the food in the cafeteria was nothing to get excited about. But the great staff made up for it with warm attitudes.

This is a high quality place of education bringing the Word of God into the vocations of today. It is a place of learning, community, friendship, worship, memory, and life. For pictures the campus features a beautiful Cedar Lake with beautiful landscaping to accent the bold structures all around. This campus has a lot to offer with regular sporting, musical, theatrical, and degree-oriented events. The cafeteria is open to the public during the semesters featuring a wide spectrum of food. With a campus of over 3,000 students the food court can get busy and crowded (best times would be at the start of serving hours or the end to avoid any rush). Check out this beautiful place for yourself.

Be warned this review is written by a parent who is only concerned about two things; that my children are on fire for Jesus and that they receive a world class education. Cedarville afforded my daughter both. At Cedarville my daughter flourished in her walk with the Lord, changed from an introvert to a confident public persona, become active in the harvest, received a great education (is on track to receive her doctorate of Pharmacy next year), and met a wonderful Christian young man. Additionally she has made wonderful friends and was able to continue to pursue dance as part of the schools theater and arts program. This is a real Christian school who actively disciples their students. In terms of the cost of getting her doctorate from Cedarville was less than the state college. I knew my daughter was wet cement going to Cedarville (all kids are) and I wanted her at a school that was going to conform her to Christ. Mission accomplished!
