It has definitely gone downhill since under new management. We have been going for the past 2 years while it was Jellystone and always had a great time. We brought friends and went back this past weekend but it just wasn't the same. Our favorite part of going in October with our kids is all of the fun activities to do. Not as many activities going on as there used to be and the ones that they did were very poorly ran. A young girl running them all day every day that was very poor with organization, giving directions, starting on time, etc. We look forward to the Monster Mash each year and it just wasn't good this time. No decorations or anything special. Kids were bummed. They want $10 a person to play miniature golf on a course that is nothing special and not even taken care of! Bathrooms were a mess. A lot of talk amongst campers that have been going for years and not happy there anymore. Will not be returning.
No gate, no privacy, no restrictions. Came for a family outing, drunk teenagers have a cabin on the hill it's 1230 and they are still at it loudly partying and yelling music up loud. No one is even here to correct it. Bathrooms are disgusting. No hot water, toilet paper everywhere in the floor, the light bulbs are even out in the bathrooms?! Last year we had the time of our lives with Yogi, I give this place maybe one more year and it will close. Totally out of control with no one to enforce the rules. A great place totally gone to hell.
My family of 9 absolutely LOVED this place!! We stayed at one of the cabins for the weekend at a very good price! Place is extremely clean and they have so much to do on the resort. The wonderful staff was just a bonus to the amazing stay! Absolutely recommend this for any family. They have to many activities during the weekend for the kiddos and we were never bored and there was always something to do. Although the pool has closed for season the water slide and pool was also a huge bonus. OH Yeah! And the sat night dance parties are the business! If you don't like this place and you are looking for a family getaway or even week getaway then I don't know where you would have fun. Aplus!!
We had a fantastic time for the weekend. My wife and 3 kids as well as another family we went with enjoyed the water slide, boating, mini golf and a huge pool. The facilities were clean and maintained and the staff was very accommodating and friendly helping us with anything we needed. The staff had cool kids activities to do each day and overall it was a wonderful experience for our family. We will definitely stay here again. Do not hesitate to camp here. A+++ camping resort!
Pics do NOT show CG as it truly is! Pool was closed over Memorial day weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun,). No waterslide, mudpit for the kids to play in (mulch isn't that expensive) no paddle boats, saw 3 WORN OUT canoes and 3 paddles. The only area that has a rock "pad" is area to the left of entryeveryone else is in mud. No discounts for the false advertising. I will say all of the young people running things are super nice and have great attitudes! We left early. Will never be back. Avoid.

My family along with six other families stayed at this campground Memorial Day weekend. We have been staying here the past 8 years for Memorial Day weekend. We love the Garcia's (previous owners) and they always made our stays here a wonderful experience. This year ownership changed and I along with many others was very disappointed. One of our families had their site double booked. The pool and water slide were both closed the entire weekend. The grass was high and we requested three times for it to be cut before it was done. To top all of this off the general manager Kimberly was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to. She didn't care about the fact that people were arriving after long drives with children to find out they didn't have a site. I attempted to have a conversation with her in which she walked away from me and went inside and shut the door. It is terrible that they treat paying customers this way. Sadly we will not be back to a place that we loved so much for many years.
The new management is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Every site was double booked for the Holiday weekend and people with long standing reservations we made to leave and treated like they were at fault. I wouldn't give these people a dime of my money, ever again. There plenty of camping available in the area, where they'll welcome you and not treat you like an inconvenience.
These ratings should reset when there is a change in name and management! There were several families verbally attacked by the Temporary General Manager KIMBERLY. Many if not all campsites were double and triple booked. Their Facebook page says pool IS open (Memorial Day Weekend) but was not because they continue to fail inspections. The new owners continue to blame the prior Jellystone management for ALL things going wrong. In my opinion they have no right to blame previous ownership as the new owners have had this property since March! I'm sorry but there are better ways to handle YOUR issues than blame others and attack your guests.
This park used to be our favorite place. We have been camping at this location for 9 years. This weekend, the website still says the pool is open..it is not. Spots were double booked and if they care to have anyone of the 30+ families I know back, they will start by replacing their current manager. She verbally abused and attacked us. Our sites were double booked and things could have been resolved in a professional way. Instead the manager came charging at part of our group with her arms up ready to fight. She said, "This is MY campground and you are not going to like what I have to sayThis is what is going to happen, we have some campers coming in next to you and you aren't going to like what their last name is going to be. You better be nice to them because they have a baby." SO our group was broken up and a professional manager would have handled this completely differently. Our friends were put in another spot and that was fine..But. don't scream and attack us. We are all nice people and would not be mean to anybody, baby or not. I asked the regional manager that was there who to come speak to us because we didn't appreciate the attack, he said to my face. " I know her and she would not act like that." He said he would come see us and he never did.. If he would have, an apology would have satisfied all of our large group needed to come back in the future. Our kids were scared to death and feel their childhood has been ruined since this is where we spend a lot of time. We really hope to speak to the new owners to resolve this. We really do wish to come back and never be treated this way again. The young girls at the counter are very sweet. The boys that work there speed too close to our RV on 4 wheelers and do not know how to say hi or wave at anybody. This used be to such a friendly placePlease make it that way again. So many people we spoke to made reservations a year ago..their spots were given to people who booked in March..it should have gone to the 1st person who made the reservations.
