Very small bedrooms and a long flight of stairs to climb to get to your bedroom. Low lighting inside. Front porch in need of repair. No ramps for disabled people.

A local treasure, awesome inn keepers who have created a very special place. A great place to spend a weekend and explore Morganton and get outside.

I was there for a dinner in their lovely, covered, outdoor dining area. I didn't see inside the Inn, but the outdoor areas were beautiful.

We're longtime guests, since there in had a different owner. The new owners did a great job renovating the place and expanded the options available. The breakfast is always amazingly tasty.

Attended this venue for a wedding and it was great! Groomsmen had breakfast at the Inn on Saturday morning and everything was top notch. The owner was extremely personable and helpful throughout. We would definitely visit again as a B&B.

Beautifully restored and historic inn. The Inn Keepers are always so gracious and give back to the community, too. Wonderful people to work with This inn also has the best front porch in Burke County.

My sister is having her wedding here in July. I cannot wait to stay here! I got to tour the house and grounds and it's just a marvelous place that is run by a warm and inviting couple. I'll post pictures after the event.

What a fabulous spot! This inn has been meticulously renovated and decorated. We stayed for a night on our way to Asheville and were delighted with a generously sized suite that was immaculately clean. I would have been up all night admiring the ecletic touches that all came together to create an ambiance that was a unique mix of rustic warmth and modern chic. The scrumptiously cozy king bed made this impossible, however, and after a restful night we woke to a delicious breakfast. Theresa and Craig were wonderful hosts with lots of suggestions regarding where to find the best music and dining. Can't wait for a return trip.

My husband and I found this beautiful inn because of a Groupon. We chose to celebrate our 43rd anniversary with a getaway here. Wow, what an experience! The 1913 Inn is beautiful and there is a lot to explore and enjoy in the surrounding area (yes, even in January). But what makes the experience most joyful are the innkeepers, Theresa and Craig. They made good recommendations after listening to our interests and we weren't disappointed. We feel we have made new friends. Food and surroundings were superb. Stayed in Bella Suite but will explore the other 3 rooms in the future.
