  I attended a catered lunch this past weekend by Black Mountain Bakery. The food was excellent --- especially the chicken salad & fruit salad. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The delivery was perfectly timed even after a change of location. Great food & great service!

  Black Mountain Bakery is top of the line! The baked goods are amazing as are the sandwiches!!! Stacey's cakes have been the highlight of our family's special occasions for many years! They are beautiful and even taste better than they look!!! The owner, Stacey and manager are the kindest I've ever met. They actually go out of their way to make you feel at home and like family. I've been visiting the bakery at least weekly since Stacey purchased the bakery and will not purchase my baked goods from anyone else. I actually live in another town and drive just to eat at the bakery! Keep it up girls!!!

  I was so utterly shocked by my sour experience at the Black Mountain Bakery this morning.
  The young woman who served us had an attitude and tone that ruined our otherwise happy family shopping day. Our simple soup and sandwich request was met with curt disdain, followed by a statement that there were only two workers there today to handle our request, despite the fact that we were the only people in the bakery. I worked in the food industry and I know that some days can be rough but utter rudeness is totally unprofessional. I should not have politely followed through with our order and would have left sooner if I had not been so stunned by this bizarre service. Sadly, we stayed and tried to enjoy the pathetic sandwich. What a disappointment - we had been looking forward to trying this reputable bakery and it could not have been worse.

  DELICIOUS Coconut Cream Pie! Ask Stacy to make it. We were her "guinea pigs" 2 weeks ago for her first one. LOVED it!
