It’s portrayed as a small technical college where you get one on one teacher support and guidance. However when you get there they give you a year worth of print outs and your basically left to figure it out on your own. And the loan is top heavy so if you go for one semester your still going to owe them about 80% of the tuition. They also claim if you ever you want to retake the course you can free but really you can only retake that course if you received an 80+ and if you had gotten an 80 your probably don’t feel the need to retake. WyoTech is a huge scam.

if u appy yourself you can learn but i expected to get more out of it but i graaduated back in 2007,it sucked and was a rip off i got good jobs and what not but learned it all just out in he field as a heavy diesel tech and busted my ass, now im a service advisor and the pay is decent, they didnt have diesel when i went either i took automotive, i maintaned a 3.5 to 4.0 threw my classes there i took asm and automotive but i took high performance engines at local business and learned a ton about theory, engine building, built my own engine for mustang 5.0 and a two stroke banshee engine and learned tuning on computers, and old point carburtor engines as well as machine work like boring, honing and port work and cutting valves and learned welding the gentlemen that ran the small school died of cancer it was called powerhouse performance classes 2000dollars and learned so much more there than at wyo tech i will not lie, if you want a quick education and apply yourself wyo tech is ok but its a bit of a scam but if you wanna learn alot and be ahead of the game go to penn tech its a hardcore program and offers bachelors degrees as well its more money but you put real time in and get an amazing education.

I graduated in Sept. 2014, and despite what some people may tell you this was an excellent school. In my experience, the ones who didn't think it was a good school were the same ones who were not applying themselves. This is a second-to-none facility. Yes tuition is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Before I attended Wyotech, I wasted 8 months at a local tech school in my area. After being frustrated from learning almost nothing, I decided to transfer to Wyotech - where learned more about the automotive field than I could have imagined. If you love working with cars and truly APPLY YOURSELF, you will have a blast and get a great education. To this day, I miss the friends I made there and the teachers were fun, too.

This school has given much knowledge on what I want to do. That's about it. Other than that, this school blows. Can't wait to get out of here. Gotta say, it helped me land a good job. Just about it really.

I can't beleive they haven't been sued to the ground by now for this scam. One of the worst decisions I've ever made and the biggest ripoff ever. Do not go here, they are liars and will teach you next to nothing you will use in the real environment. What they do teach you is basically obsolete. Dealers pay you by flat rate on labor hours turned and you are not going to make even close an experienced mechanic makes, they might pay you another $1. I learned far more working on cars in high school. Ask some people in the industry before wasting your time and money.

Place is a scam don't go. Jobs here won't even think about taking me with wyotech on the paper. Went to class every day, had good grades and it doesn't matter. Great teachers but they can only teach you so much in so little time. After this place lied about employment rates its pretty much useless. Save your money because all your gonna walk away from after going to wyotech is a bill. The 5-8000 dollars it cost for me to add electives covers almost 3 full time semesters at my local community college. I don't see how the people who run this place have the heart to even let people sign up knowing their full of it. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Just graduated got employed right after school. Great school, Great Teachers, Career services was always very helpful, just an all around great school highly recommended!!! You get what you put in! Invest in yourself at WyoTech!!

Can't speak for the education, but the experience dealing with staff and students in the local community and on the highways has been horrible. Arrogant and obnoxious, many of them seem to think their in a Fast and Furious movie..and fall way short. Avoid this place.
