My husband and I just returned from the Hershey Hotel. We stayed in the Chestnut Cottage and the room was amazing. Mike our server at the Circular Restaurant was tremendous. We had pedicures at the Spa and everyone was helpful and attentive. Room service was fast and professional. The entire staff was fantastic from check in to check out. We will definitely be back!

We recently attended a wedding there. My wife and I go there from time to time for dinner and to have drinks with friends. This particular time we stayed overnight and although nice, for the price they definitely need to do a little bit of updating in the rooms. Overall the facility and grounds are extremely nice and we really enjoy having something like this right in our backyard.

Our first experience here and would not recommend. Our Friday night was nice but at 1:00am Saturday night into Sunday morning there was a “rowdy” wedding party on our floor that set off the smoke detectors 3 different times, then people in the hallways yelling for over an hour. At checkout when we talked to our front desk staff member “Julie” about our concern, her response to our complaint was “yeah our wedding parties can be rambunctious “ and that was it then basically shut us down and had a bad demeanor. Another lady checking out at the same time mentioned the same concerns. We paid $1,400 to basically be told that wedding parties supersede a general expectation of a quiet, enjoyable stay. We were pleased with the breakfast options and the restaurant staff. They were above and beyond courteous. The food at the Harvest was delicious! Saturday night at the amusement park seemed to be beyond capacity. We rode one ride and left. Couldn’t even walk through the park because of the shoulder to shoulder crowd. Otherwise a beautiful area and beautiful buildings and landscaping.

Loved our stay. Our thermostat and ac vent looked like it needed to be cleaned and/or replaced but everything else was perfect. The pool was our favorite part. Room service was great. Stores had what we needed. All staff were great. A special shout out to Rose at the Circular restaurant who so welcoming and cheerful at breakfast each morning.

The staff was very outgoing and helpful, even as they passed us in the halls. The hotel itself is very nice, albeit a bit dated. Our room was modestly sized, dominated by the king bed -which was amazingly soft. The room did have several visible cobwebs and the shower wasn’t cleaned well.
The property has several restaurants and a lounge.response / report this review
