Amazing food. Amazing location. Would be an ideal setting in the summers. Tried the salmon n mac n cheese combo for the first time which was a delight.

Never had less than a really good meal here at world famous. From really good prime rib to a prime rib bits appetizer they also offer fresh seafood and the lobster tacos are very popular in addition to a great happy hour daily not to mention they are Oceanfront at the foot of Pacific Beach Drive. Pretty cool

We sat at the bar an ordered a bunch of appys. Good food and the rib happy hour deal was quite a value. On the other hand, my old fashioned coat more here than at the hotel bar! Our server was great but it was very busy and she was a little overwhelmed so we didn't get things quickly. Not her fault but maybe they should reevaluate their staffing needs. We really enjoyed the calamari. It came out in nice big sticks that weren't overcooked as a lot of places tend to do. Of course the location and accompanying sunset were sweet!

Have been coming here for 10 years plus! Tonight's dinner was absolutely disappointing! The service was bad, food was bad! I had potato crusted sea bass. The sea bass was microscopic & was covered with hash browns! My husband and two friends had the prime rib. It was tough and chewy! It used to melt in your mouth! The bathrooms looked like the homeless had been living in them! How sad! Why do great places have to go down hill? Will never go there again!!! What a bummer!😢

Great service. Friendly staff. Good food but a bit pricey. Remember to make a reservation so you don't have to wait 25 minutes. Nice beach view.

Can be warm. Food usually quite good. Typically crowded. Once I felt ripped off with the rib eye steak and eggs. Steak was less than an 1/8 inch thick. Most times I'm happy there. Be prepared to wait.

First time visiting and we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, great customer service. But most importantly the food was amazing! We had chips and guacamole to start and then ordered shrimp and lobster tacos. So good. Exactly what we were looking for when visiting the beach. We will be back very soon.

Places fantastic food is excellent service is great really enjoyed the visit. You coming to San Diego you got to visit this place not sure which is better the service of the food. Waiting for a table with a view is worth the wait can't go wrong grateful we were here.

Food is overpriced and overrated. Had amazing meals in mission beach except this one. Scallops were very good. All two of them. Portions are tiny. Two small stuffed crab mushrooms. Spring rolls were delicious and decent portion. If you really want to enjoy the view, go for it but just get a beer and eat somewhere else.

Great food and an even better location. Definitely walk to this from your place. We had the lobster BLT and Maine lobster salad. Both were fantastic. Cool place to check out for lunch or early dinner. Got busy quickly.

I think World Famous could be a hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. It has potential, being right up close to shore with ocean views but kinda needs a remodel, in my opinion. Locals love the menu for its shrimp and lobster tacos, but all the tacos are good. Great menu options. Also a widely known secret by now, the drink people know as a 'Two Straw'is not on the actual menu very good, very potent. Be careful with those babies.

Good food. Right next to our hotel. Ate lunch and dinner there. Very casual for lunch and more smart casual for dinner. Lunch was great. We ate on the patio right next to the beach. We saw dolphins from our seats which made the view even better. Service was good as well.

Very average. Food lacked anything to be excited about. It wasn't terrible, just wasn't anything to write home about. If it weren't a rainy day, the view I'm sure would have been great. If we hadn't gone on half off app day I would be much more upset.
