Very simple brew pub layout. Chill place to hang out and relax. If you want decor, this is the wrong place. What makes this place standout is their variety of top quality craft choices on draft and bottle.

For the uninitiated, Toronado SD is a low-key spot that has a consistently killer taplist, great food, knowledgeable & friendly bar staff, and is clean & spacious.

For those who have experienced the original Toronado, some of these things may surprise you.

Regardless, it's one of the best decisions you can make if you're looking for a place to grab a really good beer in San Diego proper.

This is an exceptional beer bar. Beer list, draft and bottles is incredible. You'll find something you love. The food is really really good too, limited menu but there isn't a burger you won't love.

Fantastic beer pub, 50 taps of great beer, including local and non-local beers and not 1 Bud or Miller light in the place. Also they have an amazing bottle list, hundreds of different beers including lots of Belgian beer in the bottle. Good pub food too.

One of my favorite beer bars in SD. A fantastic selection of beer which is always on an interesting rotation. They have $4 special taps if you're looking to save money. The patio out back is nice and quieter than inside -- but everyone inside is friendly too. The burger and brew special is pretty nice when you're looking to have dinner.

I can't say anything about this place that hasn't been said. If you're in San Diego and you're a beer lover, Toronado is a must visit. They recently updated their beer menu so it displays styles (no more asking or researching every beer). One of the most consistently high quality beer menus in SD bar none.

Great hipster place (no beard required) with an extensive list of unique bottled beers. Ask for their bottled beer menu (its long and will take yo a minute to get through), but keep in mind that they do not update it regularly so you will have to ask what they may have. They always have some food special like their steak dinner with potato and vegetables for around $12. Another great selling point is there back patio for smokers or whoever!
