The only reason this hospital is getting 2 stars from me is because Katie & Ginger were AMAZING! I'm very thankful they were there.Thinking I'd have a great experience just like with my other 2 children. I was completely wrong. Having my baby was a great experience.Katie was extremely helpful. Once we got into our room it was a TOTALLY different experience. Both of my nurses had the worst bed side manners I had ever seen (likely due to being over worked) still no excuse.The first nurse never washed or sanitized her hands then became upset when I asked her to!! Jennifer was the worst she wouldn't answer any questions about the shots (that they pressure you to get).I was discriminated against, my child was tossed around like he was nothing,his birth certificate was lost, to top it off none of his newborn screenings can be found!! While leaving (I was so thankful to see the last of this place)the nurse is supposed to help pack your things & make sure you don't forget anything..she left & came back to walk me outside while I had to push the big cart with all of my stuff on it(after having stitches).After speaking to several friends I've found the reputation of women's hospital has completely diminished.I'm still in shock of how my family & I were treated.

Wonderful experience from pre-admission to discharge. Planned robotic hysterectomy 24 hr stay. All nurses and staff were wonderful and caring. A special thank you to nurse Abby 3rd floor, she delivered exceptional nursing care.

I believe her name is Katie in the emergency section. She was wonderful. Although they were very busy they still were able to treat me while I waited. They made sure my symptoms were completely gone and I was well hydrated before discharging me unlike the hospital I had seen the night before. I am very thankful for these people and can't wait to see them again in April when I have my baby.

I had a terrible experience with the birth of my son. My midwife would say I could take a break from the itchy fetal monitors and as soon as she was long gone, a nurse would come back in and tell me I HAVE to put them back on. The nurses treated me like I knew nothing and that I needed to "suck it up" if I were scared or uncomfortable. When I asked for a breast pump because I needed to release some pressure in my boobs, the nurses told me I could not have one because I didnt know what I was talking about and no way my milk was in yet. Hours later when I finally got one they acted shocked that I was right.

was great with my wife. however, we were moved so quickly from the birthing room the the after room my wife was still really sore and there was no room for me to stay with her. i had to sleep propped up in a chair instead of being able to sleep so i could help her.

First time mom, just had my baby here and I must say the nurses are GREAT well really their whole staff is. Very attentive and friendly. Kinda makes me wish I worked here lol. Also hubby loved the food served here so thats always a plus lol. Keep it up guys🖒

I had two successful vbacs here. Everyone was so helpful and kind. We have since moved and I wish I could have my next baby at the Greensboro women's hospital!

My personal experience was wonderful. The nurses and doctors did a great job. The nurses were all so sweet and informative. They made sure I knew what was being done and why. They cared about my general well being.The nurse told me after my c/s that night 1 would be checks every 2hrs, then the day shift transitioned to every 4hrs, and the final would be twice a day. This was comforting because I knew they would catch any complications early. The Lactation Specialists were widely available, knowledgeable, and one was present at each shift. The baby and I had separate nurses attending to us with each shift and they did the switch off notes in front of me so I knew what was being shared. It was a great experience and I would gladly return for the next birth.

My wife gave birth to our son here one year ago. We did a "water-birth" with a birth Doula. I have no complaints what so ever. Everything went as planned and the staff was very supportive and caring. Perfect!

After the experience we had at this hospital I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. At every appointment my daughter went to while pregnant all kinds of unnecessary test where done over and over again just to charge the insurance. Even when she said she didn't feel it was necessary they would convince her. Apart from that, we don't recommend anyone to be labor induced. We had the worse experience while waiting to be induced and dealing with rude nurses that took there time to respond to us. We had to request for the doctor to come to see why was it taking so long and when the doctor arrived it was time, the baby was almost there. If we didn't request the doctor who knows what might of happened. Right after the baby was born they literally throw you out the room. This was horrible! My daughter was so disappointed and stressed out from everything we had experienced in the labor room. They don't cut you for the baby to come out easy, the let you rip. I couldn't believe it. Than the placenta wouldn't come out and they had to push it out which was very painful because the medication wore off. It's too much to express. We were in the hospital a total of 5 days and the amount that was charged for the whole pregnancy time (including many simple test) and having the baby was more than $33,000 which is ridiculous! That's what we need to pay besides what the insurance has paid or has to pay. We were never told it would be that much to have the baby at that hospital plus all the extra fees. Beware of your charges and unnecessary testing. They will keep you longer at the hospital just to make more money. Don't let it happen to youThey don't work with low payments plans and they don't give you any discounts. After the baby was born, we no longer could pay the health insurance because the payments were high and now we have to pay the hospital, but they don't care. We have to pay over $500 a month. You either pay what they tell you to pay or else you go to collection and it gets reported to your credit. How sad You can't even have a baby without it costing you a fortune and it doesn't matter if you're self pay! They don't negotiate!!!
