Central Illinois is lucky to have a great park like this. Cabins are great.

Cannot believe with all the funds IDNR receives from gaming licenses/tags, etc they have allowed the park and trails to deteriorate to this level! Time to step it up IDNR!! YOU CAN/SHOULD DO BETTER!!

Ok camp site. Has lots of bathrooms, but they are basically pit poopers. Toilets over a cistern. And they stink. Showers wprked, but not in best condition.

Lovely Campground. Nice big spaces. Clean Bath House. Pulled in here on a Friday evening plenty of great spots to pick from. Enjoyed the weekend. Close to the lake and beach access in the park. Very friendly and helpful campground host. We will stay here again

A nice park that is really focused on campers. Needs more hiking trails and prairie restoration is poor, except for a nice stand of prairie blazing star along the main road.

My last trip here was rained out and the camp ground we got wasn't the biggest. But in the past I've had wonderful experiences here! I would recommend going!!

We have been camping here a few times of in the past 5-6 years and have always enjoyed it. It is usually pretty quiet with plenty of open spots. The campsites are mostly flat with a good amount on space in between. The sites are well maintained and most of them have a good amount of shade. My only complaint is that the shower house and bathroom could be better maintained. All in all a nice campground to just sit and relax.
