Went on Saturday at 11 am and the gates were locked!! This is a horrible time not to be open since a tornado just came through our community 1 week ago! Not only is it inconvenient it cost me extra money as I had rented a trailer to haul a bunch of debris and trash there!!! Now I must also be late to work to unload and return the trailer! The sign at the gate states Saturday 8-12.

You are under contract, you have to give a written notice to cancel and then they won't let you out. They asked me for almost $1,000. and refuse to remove can that is now sitting on the neighbors property.

BEWARE..it would be MOST wise to call ahead of time before you haul your load out to this site. We were surprised one Saturday when the gates were locked and no one was answering our calls. NO notice posted. We were SOL until we contacted the landfill in Mt. Pleasant. Lucky for us because we didn't mind the longer drive and paying $18.00 for the dump vs. $60.00.

Couldn’t find anywhere to drop off an old mattress so I was referred to the landfill in new Boston. I told the woman all I had was the single mattress so she weighed my truck and trailer with and without the mattress. She didn’t say a word about the price so I expected to pay 5-10$.. she charged 30 dollars for a single mattress and then ignored me when I tried to ask her about it. It was probably my mistake assuming there would be fair pricing but some common courtesy would be nice.
