Omg the best service ever. The staff is amazing! A year ago I came to Macon because I had to teach a training class. The hotel that I was staying at, had to kick me out because of this so called Cherry Blossom Festival. I packed up my car an tried to find a hotel. I came to the Wingate and was treated so kindly when I walked in. Nick. J, was so accommodating, he got me a room ASAP and he worked with my companies Per diem rate. Which was such a blessing.
I live in Savannah . During the hurricane, I emailed Nick and he was able to get my family a room. Although we ended up staying in Savannah, it was such a blessing to know that he was able and willing to help me out. The front desk employees are so helpful easy-going and they know me by name, because I come to Macon quite a bit. If you want to be treated like a king or queen this is the place to be !
Thanks so much Nick!

Clean, friendly staff and inexpensive.
Staff was friendly and courtess. Room key problem was fixed promptly. Room was clean but the hotel does have some millage. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a decent hotel and will return again.
Sat out the storm for 4 days at the Wyndham Wingate in Macon. Facility and staff were amazing! They calmly, efficiently and cheerfully served a hotel full of anxious peopleincluding children. Everyonefrom manager, Nickolas Jonesto Marquetta Wilson at the front desk..to the young lady (whose name I have sadly lost) who tirelessly refreshed the breakfast buffet with hot fresh food for an anxious crowdto cheerful and helpful housekeeping staffmade an anxious experience positive, and even enjoyable. WELL DONE, WYNDHAM WINGATE IN MACON, GA
I have stayed at this location several times. The staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The pool is on the smallish side, but adequate.
We normally stop here on trips through the area and have had good experiences until tonight. The front desk clerk had no training and could not do travel coupons. We will not be back.
This hotel was very nice as a simple place to stay overnight on the way to our final destination. It's located right off of I-75 between two exits, and is easy to find. The room was large and well-equipped, and the king-sized bed was comfortable. The A/C in the room worked well and was fairly quiet, which means it didn't wake us up each time it cycled on or off throughout the night. Even at 1:30 in the morning, when we arrived, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Finally, the included breakfast was fine - maybe a step above what you'd find at the lower-cost brands.
Not a bad place..we were on our way to Orlando from Cincinnati well this is the place to stop after about 10 hours on the road.. it was late when we showed up. I had read reviews on trip advisor before stopping and I really was unsure.. price was pretty good, guy if you are like me you think cheaper the price greater chance of bed bugs.. there was a graduation party in the lower level meeting room so I was thinking.. loud music? ? But no.. they did a good job keeping it down..so listengood price and it's a motelyes by wyndham..but still a motel..so you resort ..milk drinking yuppies, go easy..little flaws here and there..but all and all. Not a bad place.
Booked through Expedia, and got in our room at 1:30 am on Sunday April 16,2017. Next morning, while wife was still in bed, I exited the bathroom next to the door to the room, and heard someone messing with the door lock. The lock suddenly opened by someone with a key card, and the door began to open. No one knocked or announced entry. I slammed the door shut and announced loudly that it was a good way to get shot!
Whoever tried to enter was instantly out of sight as I opened the door, armed. Complaint to front desk was apologized for. After returning home the next day, I found that we were charged without authorization, $150 additional fee. Mgr Nick Jones was rude, unprofessional, and said that we were charged for smoking in our non smoking room, and neither of us have ever smoked. He said that house keeping had a photograph of evidence that we smoked in the room. We were recently sent an email of a close up of a drain in a sink somewhere, very with a cigarette ash next to it.
Complaint to corporate still not followed up on, and we are still out$150. Will never stay there again, be and maybe never at Windham hotels either.

The young man who checked me in was extremely friendly and helpful as was the young lady who checked me out. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
One of the best bets. Nice and clean rooms. Excellent mattress. Good breakfast.
Excellent service and the room was very calming and relaxing. Man I enjoyed my stay!!!
Morning reception/front desk staff was friendly, professional and helpful. However the late night worker of the front desk was preoccupied with her male friend who lingered around the front area each night she worked. She wasn't helpful. Breakfast was okay. Eggs were watery. My personal pillow went missing which I didn't like. But the housekeeping supervisor left me a new hotel pillow since mine was never found. The walls are chipped and the carpets are stained. Pillow cases and sheets are stained also. Not to mention the pillows are tiny. The place definitely needs work but the beds were very comfortable. I just expected more from Wingate.
