While I love red roof because, like all normal people, I have pets and a couple travel with me, this one was not so good. The disinfectant was so strong my eyes burned. The room was clean but you can tell it has taken a beating. The drug dealer showed up at around 8pm in his blue jaguar to make deliveries. I was glad I was packin'. Interesting place. PEACE
You get what you pay for. The prices are great and the rooms are what you'd expect for the price. The staff was very helpful, and my only complaint is there isn't enough parking. Solid 3 out of 5
Reasonable price stayed here multiple times for work. Kid and pet friendly. Never had any problems. Would stay again.
We are evacuees from Hurricane Irma. We were staying previously in a hotel in Tennessee which was a complete nightmare. This hotel was a breath of fresh air. Our room was clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, they have everything you need in the room, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and there are 2 charcoal grills in courtyard where we were able to cook out first semi home cooked meal in 2 weeks. Alana at the front desk was amazing and shows the true definition of Southern Hospitality. She was so kind and helpful and made us feel welcome and right at home. I can't say Thank you enough to Alana! We love the surrounding area and when we come back to visit, this is definitely the hotel we will stay.
We were evacuees from Florida during hurricane Irma and went to Ohio. On our way back we were tired and booked the only thing available in practically the state. The room was advertised as non-smoking, but when we walked in the room it was like a slap in the face of cigarette smell. I checked the bed for bugs as I always do and there were no visible bugs, but there were several nasty stains on the sheets and comforter of both beds (so glad we had our own sheet set in the car). I also found ashes and dirt between the sheets, obvious sign that they don't wash their bedding and that someone was smoking in here. The shower smelled of mold and the water smelled like dirt and was mildly yellow. There was long black hair embedded in the towels (again, glad I brought my own). We were so tired we just dealt with it. Honestly I would've rather slept in the car, but we were already here and super tired.
Also, the young man up front seemed really annoyed that they were so busy because of everyone evacuating. He made a comment about how he didn't care that the owners were making money and getting a lot of business.
We needed a place to stay over night on our way to Fl. We read all the reviews for different hotels and this one seemed to have the best. For the price this was a nice place to stay and we will stay again. The pool area is nice and the Mexican restaurant was very good. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The free breakfast was good. The had a great selection for a 2 star hotel. I would rate it higher than a 2 star for sure. They had fruit, juice, coffee with good creamer, cereal, muffins, danishes, and make your own waffles. The room has a mini fridge and a microwave.
A great nights stay. Rooms were very affordable and very clean. Nice friendly staff and they were very accommodating. Was very please with my stay
heat didn't work great in our room on one of the coldest nights I've spent in Georgia
Clean and price was good for what it is. Bed was comfortable. Unit a little loud.
It was a great experience. The staff was so helpful
The rooms were clean and the beds were pretty comfortable for a budget friendly hotel. There were some issues with the AC but it was a mostly good experience! Good value for the money.
