Boyce Park is a beautiful place with wooded walking trails, a ski slope, an archery range, a model airplane / drone flying area, soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and picnic pavilions. We have lived near it for several years and have not yet even explored the whole park because of its vast size.
love this park , so much cool fun single track mtb here and a beginner ski slope area fun to bike up and down or learn to snowboard/ski on. check out Rivertowne brewing nearby.
I'm old school skateboarder, and the 3b's skatepark at Boyce Park gives that experience. if riding bowls and transition is what you after, this is the place to go.
Nice place to walkers and joggers. It has ice skating facility in winter.
Boyce Park is one of my favorite parks in Pittsburgh. During the summer there is an incredible amount of space open on what would be the skill slopes - excellent place to fly racing drones
Trails well marked. Weather was good. Cordial greetings with other hikers.
We use Boyce to practice in for our XC team. The trails are nice and the park is usually clean. The port potteys could be cleaned a bit more frequently. There are a few trails that have downed trees
I've been running in Boyce Park for years, so it feels like home to me. Get out and explore the miles and miles of trails. Some are easily accessible and open, and others are hidden and very deep in the woods. With some exploring, you will find many beautiful areas. I do think the lodge could use some updates though, and the water fountains could be cleaned.
Scenic area. Trails to run and ride. Hill view is awesome.
My family visits this park weekly. We love to hike on all of the trails. Sled ride on the hills. The pavilions are cheap to rent. Nice clean park
Its a very nice park to run around but make sure your facing the side were vehicles will see the front of you so you don't get hit by a moving car
The skiing was a lot of fun. We took a Boy Scout Troop for their first time ever ski trip. The hills are shorter than your average ski resort, but the price was right and it was fairly clean and organized.
Seems like a normal park from the outside but really have to explore to find the gems. Awesome single track for bikes. Nice slopes and snow tubing for a night in the snow without busting the bank. Hilly hiking trails that can challenge you. Facilities for most any sport, pavilions for any gathering and a wave pool for cooling off.
