The house is not too far once you are off the highway. There are some spots on the tour that would require some stairs, as well as some of the areas on the nature trail. If you can definitely take a walk through the property. Without a doubt, worth the trip.

What a beauty 😍 The drive there was gorgeous. Autumn leaves changing colors, hilly terrain, taking you on an adventure. When we got there, we were assign a group. If you want to see the inside of Fallingwater, you need to book in advance via their website. We munched on a few items from the cafe (they were yummy!) while we waited for the tour. The tour was nice and you got to know the owners and the history of the relationship between the architect and this family. The architecture itself is unique and it blends in with nature. One regret we have is that we didn’t get the chance to hit the trail. So will definitely be back and do some hiking.

Wanted to come here almost my entire adult life. It lived up to the hype! Just go! Buy your ticket online, wear comfy shoes. You cannot take pics inside which is truly a shame. I don't really understand that reasoning. The inside is so amazing! The outside pics will just have to lure you in! The house is a masterpiece by Frank Lloyd Wright, a true genius.

This beautiful estate and unique home. Should be a must-do if you are going to be in the area. The tour of the home is very interesting and informative and the guides are amazing. They really know their stuff and encourage you to ask questions. The tour moves along at a good pace that's not too fast so you can really explore the home. Overall, a great experience that I would happily repeat!

I'll start right at the beginning. I live almost 5 hours away so purchased our tickets online. I found the website easy to use and had no difficulty ordering the tickets and having them held at will-call. I'm not a huge architecture fan but was able to appreciate what Wright did here. Our tour guide was very nice and gladly answered my side questions along the way. He was respectfully protective of the items in the home, politely asking people on several occasions not to touch something. After all, what we are really talking about here is a museum and you wouldn't touch something at the Met is New York. If you're easily bored Fallingwater might not be a place to visit for you. I found the architecture fascinating and the background information on it's construction interesting.

If you have even a passing interest in architecture or design then you need to visit and tour Falling Water. Beautiful drive in and the setting is gorgeous. We were blown away by the the timelessness of the house and furniture design with many unique touches. The gallery at visitors center provides a great over view of Mr. Wrights career.

Never before have I experienced such a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor. They fuse perfectly in this amazing structure. Make sure you take note of the art on the walls. When I was there, they had Picassos, Diego Riveras, etc. Practicality aside, it is a masterpiece on so many levels. No picture can really do it justice. It, truly, is an experience.

The house is amazing, but sad. It was designed for a family - a vacation house to allow its inhabitants to be close to nature. It was meant to be lived in and loved by its owners. And I'm sure it was. But now it's a sterile museum, open to hoards of camera toting tourists who will spend an hour or two there and then leave. The house seemed so sad to me. It feels as though it's lost its soul. So maybe this is a bit too anthropomorphic a review. The house is beautiful. Go, take your pictures and try not to think too hard about it.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent experience touring the house and grounds. As an architect myself, I didn't learn too much more about the house than I had already known. However, the tour guide was very insightful, and it was amazing to experience the scale and setting of the home.

I have always wanted to visit this home. After it being an inspiration throughout most of my college career I finally got to visit and experience first hand the amazing architecture and the extraordinary sense of each space. Every detail and every space itself will leave you amazed. After you visit this site your view of nature and buildings will change for good! Definitely a must visit before you die kind of place.
