Mother nature wasn't cooperating but the resort did a great job of making the most of the man made snow. My nephew had a lesson and it really helped.
Great skiing tonight. Good man made snow. Hoping for cooler weather.
Cozy laid back atmosphere. Great place for kids to learn to ski. Friendly, helpful staff.
Service was good but the rooms were a disaster. Our room was dirty and it looked as though there was mold in our bathtub. In addition to that, the bathroom door didn’t lock or even shut all the way. If you’re looking for a place to rest your head this will suffice but for a relaxing weekend away??? Spend your money elsewhere, COMPLETELY OVER PRICED. such a waste.
One of the finest resorts, family friendly, great people, employees are wonderful, especially the ski patrol!
Lovely placee to have a wedding. And other parties
Stayed in a condo in the summer. Beautiful place to stay, nice and peaceful resort with lots of stuff to do within a 1 hour radius of Hidden Valley. There is a golf course and a spa, neither of which we went to. But the two pools are nice and if you don't rent (or your owner leaves you the homeowner's pool passes), you can go. There are some great trails to hike on in hidden valley and the adjacent national park. Recommend going here for a quiet vacation or getaway.
Beautiful grounds. Hotel slightly run down. Needs lots of repairs. Basic continental breakfast.
I went here for a wedding. The food and staff were wonderful. Everyone had a great time.
Went there for one last day on the slopes for the season. Had a great time, snow on the backside of the mountain was much better than the front, seems to be the usual case. Crowds weren't bad at all and towards the end of the day there were no lift lines to speak of. Just wish lift tickets weren't so expensive for the size of the resort.
My fiance and I went to Hidden Valley for a weekend getaway. We had a great time snowboarding but had a terrible time with the lodging. We stayed at The Inn at Hidden Valley and we had numerous complaints. When we walked upstairs to our room we instantly noticed boot crusted footprints all over the carpet. We then noticed a giant rip in the couch right down the middle. About an hour later we noticed bees crawling around on the carpet. I went to take a shower but the shower head sprayed everywhere but on me. We decided to watch TV in our room before we went out for the night and when I put my back against the headboard I was poked by nails coming out of the headboard. We went to the front desk to let the staff know of our problems we encountered but were told to come back in the morning to speak to a manager. The staff let us stay in a room with bees crawling around thank goodness neither my fiance or myself is allergic. We went to speak to management in the morning and was greeted by the managers poor attitude and was told the boot prints are from the cleaning staff and the couch they knew about but the new one is on back order. The manager said she will let maintenance know about the bees and the headboard. She did not offer us an immediate solution or any guidance in our problems we encountered. The morning we checked out we were refunded some of our money but were told by staff they did not know exactly why we were receiving a refund. This is a great ski resort in terms of skiing or snowboarding but if you decide to stay here do your homework on lodging
The service was great. In terms of skiing, the instructors can tell at what rate you are ready to learn, and push you when you want to. And at the lift, the operators are attentive, and will slow and stop the lift for any issue. Rentals were handled well, and it was a great overall experience.
We took our three-year-old for ski lessons. The employees were great and the bunny him was perfectly set up for kids lessons. The resort is also fairly small so it was ready to navigate. We grabbed lunch at the sunrise/sunset cafe which didn't blow is away but was fine for ski resort cafe food.
