We've eaten breakfast here several times and the service has been generally good (sometimes slow) and the food has always been great. I have yet to try their lunch or dinner menu though.
The minute we walked in we sat right down. However, we were not approach for over 20 minutes. I had to stop the waiter and ask for coffee and inform him we had yet to be served. He apologized for the wait, took out order and we waited as others who had arrived after us with a larger families get served. The staff appeared confused and disorganized and the restaurant did not appear to be busy. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this is so unexceptionable. The the hotel staff is great in comparison to the restaurant! I'm here for the week and sadly will not recommend this place for breakfast. Management came out, apologized and stated that they were understaffed. I was so upset and left without my family eating.
Great view and food. Service was a joke.
Ok for breakfast,
But dinner menu had 5 choices. They run out of one which was fish and chips. Leaving us with 4 others. It was only 5-6 people there. Potato served cold and chicken tender had so much oil and breading it was impossible to finish.
Food is great HOWEVER, the service here is AWFUL! Came here twice for breakfast and had two different waitresses. Both had were rude and seemed completely rushed even with an empty room. They say you have a "huge view" of Lake George but that's only if your seated near the windows in front. If you come here be prepared for horrible service!
Had breakfast here 3 days in a row
1st time because of convenience since we stayed at the hotel
2nd and 3rd because the food was so freaking good
Not a big fan of pancakes but here they were so delicious instantly got hooked
Tisha was our server super attentive, super fast, super nice.
And of course the decor of the place I'm told it's the original structure that survived the fire dating to 19th century and truly feels that way
With those gorgeous views of the lake and mountains
Will come back soon!!!
