I cannot honestly say I enjoyed a single part of my experience at Wesley Long’s Emergency Room. Of course, no one should enjoy the ER. But Wesley Long is one of the worst I’ve had by far. I checked in around 7pm, and luckily was through the triage fairly quickly. But afterwards, they ran multiple tests, listened to my symptoms, and drew blood, none of which they truly acknowledged or discussed with me until I questioned them. They did two IV’s, one of which was not put in properly, another that they didn’t take out until I told them it was painful, and finally refuse to discharge me until more than 5 hours later, with no conclusive answer as to what could be causing my symptoms. I will never voluntarily return to this ER, and highly suggest others in the area.

Absolute worse hospital. They care more about money then patient care. Staff is unprofessional to be nice. To bad that this is one of two hospitals in the area and neither is worth a damn.

After waiting 5 1/2 hrs I left with the same symptoms with someone else's discharge papers. HIPPA law was broke. A walkie talkie was left in my room and had me freaked out with someone shouting we are on lock down in the er.
My doctor was bewildered as to why they did not keep me until my urine was clear and was able to eat and drink on my own. I threw up the whole way home with a severe headache. Luckily a sister hospital was able to get me and my unborn child back to normal with a little extra care.response / report this review -

WILL NOT COME BACK! Dr Sam Jacubowitz was extremely rude and dismissive. He refused to see patient unless she was dress in a gown and underwear only. Interrupted patient while she tried to explain what was happening. He told her she was fine and to take Tylenol. He couldn't even fully come into the room to speak to patient. We told the nurse of this behavior and could not accommodate or get another doctor to see the patient.

Best hospital and patient care around. I came in with a dislocated shoulder. They were very empathetic and kind. They even made sure my son was given lunch, as he accompanied me in the ambulance! They did there best to accommodate me, even though I was in a great deal of pain. Professional, caring and very competent!

This staff is the rudest hospital staff I have ever encountered! Last night I went for very bad abdominal pain. I got there around 6:15/6:30pm ish, they took my vitals and drew my blood for test. Around 10:30pm I go up to the counter and ask the wait time, the lady told me I had 10 people in front of me. I told myself that I would wait, because I already waited this long. Around 11:30 I went up there, a new front desk person was there and she told me there was no way to tell when you will be called back, due to people who is more urgent will always be the priority. Which I understand, but it was getting to the point where I looked around and I was there the longest out of everyone. So I asked if I could at least get my results, just to see if I am okay. So one of the nurses told me the normal stuff they look for is okay but I do have some critical red stuff in my results. At this point, I am like really, and she said I still had 2 people waiting to get a room and they are about to close one of the rooms for the night!!! I left upset and still in pain. People don't come to the emergency room for FUN, they come because they are in PAIN!!! I called this morning to see if they can give me my results over the phone, the floor manager named Kim said, No we can not do that over the phone. Again I understand, so I said, " I have to come up there again and wait for 6 hrs just to see my results, this rude lady said yes and hung up the phone. Absolutely the worst experience at the emergency room!

Went to the ER several times a few months ago because I was constantly sick and they spent a bunch of my money running tests and said there was nothing wrong with me. Got a second opinion from an actual legitimate doctor outside of bumf*ck Greensboro and it turned out my thyroid functions were low and I had some vitamin deficiencies causing my feeling so ill. These doctors at Wesley Long could have figured this out with the routine blood tests they ran, but they wanted to charge more for different imaging tests and they ended up missing my diagnosis completely. These people could kill someone. Terrible. I will be pursuing legal recourse. They need to learn their lesson and actually save lives, not try to gouge patients for more money.

Kudos to the ED staff Dr. Navorti, Nurse Terrance, triage Nurses. On 3/22/17@1030 pm. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding care given to the patient. As a Nurse Manager, I was greatly impressed at the level of customer service and kindness given to the sick patients. These health care professionals are what is right with health care. Thank you!

I was born in this hospital in 1967. I've grown up in the immediate area. I also am very familiar with Wesley Long Hospital. On that note, trust me when I tell youYOU DO NOT WANT TO COME TO THIS HOSPITAL! Keep driving or this could be your last stop! Go to the next one. This is the hospital of misfit doctors and nurses. You WILL wait for a very very long time, you may or may not get to see a doctor, if your in pain they will treat you as if your a drug abuser/seeker, your insurance will be charged to the MAX, you may get misdiagnosed. This "use to be" a grand hospital many years ago but hasn't been that way for a very long time. Its more like a huge urgent care with horrible service and rejected staff. You will be so sorry you came here
