I had a situation come up last minute that required them to look at a vehical for me that day. They were prompt, professional and accommodating to my schedule beyond my wildest expectations. I have never been to a mechanic where I came out and said I should have paid more for their services, but I did when I went to Weissman Auto. Wish this establishment was located where I live because I'd go to them for everything.

Hand brake cable was hanging loose after 2700 km journey from Canada. Staff was very helpful to fix this minor but potentially harmful issue, free of charge!

Had a good experience with Weissman auto until recently.
I spent between $600 and $700 there trying to get the car to run smoothly and erase thee check engine light from coming on,
Upon picking up the car the engine light was still on but they said I was mainly there just to get the car running right..
I left it there one more day and came in the next morning to pick it up and the battery was dead.
Upon further communication I was told it was my starter.
I decided to fix it myself . Replaced the battery .Starter was never an issue.
Oh yeah, the check engine light is still on.
Very unprofessional .Will not go back.
Wish the owner would have been there .Nice guy from the few time Ive met him.response / report this review -

I visited Weissman for the first time and was very pleased with the service I received. They were accommodating to my schedule/pick-up needs, and called to discuss their findings before moving ahead with repairs. Ryan took the time to discuss what they found as well as the estimated costs. It felt like they were giving their honest opinions and weren't pushy about anything. I'd feel confident going back for future service needs.

They really are honest people. Unfortunately I have had some expensive reapers done but they tried to keep the cost down as much as possible. They'll go for rides so you can show them the issue and they've given me a lot of car rides home when I didn't have a ride back. Family owned and operated.

I am SO GLAD that I found this place after one mechanic at a different shop told me nothing was wrong with my car even though you could noticeably smell gasoline and I hadn't filled up the tank in a while. At this shop they were able to take care of me the same day I called to see if they had an opening. They reassured me I wasn't crazy and that my car WAS leaking gas. Also I love that they provide transportation while your car is getting worked on . The two drivers I had were VERY nice and made it a comfortable ride even though they were strangers to me. I appreciate this company and the employees who work hard to make sure you are taken care of.

Look no further! This is the best shop around! Friendly, HONEST, knowledgeable staff, Very high quality mechanics. They also renewed my vehicles registration! WOW! Talk about convenience! A++ Highly recommended!

One of the mufflers fell off my 1987 International S1700. I drove up and asked if they’d help clamp it back on – they said I could leave it there and they’d look at it when the schedule opened up. Turned out I needed more than a few clamps. The exhaust I had was a custom job and replacement parts were hard to come by. Weissman Automotive not only got the job done in the time frame I needed – but came in under the estimated price. Thank you! 10/10 would go again!

I've been working with Rick and Karen for just about 20 years now. I've had everything from old Mini Vans to used trucks to mew Crossovers and even though I've been living in Waukesha the last 7 years, I have zero problems with heading back to Germantown to see them.
The work is done right, it's a fair price and the service is by far and away better than any dealer I've been to.response / report this review
