This shopping plaza stays busy no matter what time of day or day of the week you visit. It's hectic at times, but totally worth it! They have so many new stores that has been added to both sides of the plaza and a nice array of restaurants. I like the blend of slightly upscale stores and affordable stores as it caters to a variety of people. I always enjoy the atmosphere with the music playing and people bustling.
Still a great selection of shops. Despite living on the west coast of FL, I usually go once a year for Christmas shopping. If you are going on a weekend between Black Friday and Christmas, be aware that the parking/traffic is rough. I usually try to park in the center and plan for about thirty minutes of walking. If I must drive between stores, I expect to spend about ten minutes looking for a new spot closer.
During the rest of the year, parking is a non-issue and it is hard to find another center that rivals their shop selection.
A nice area to shop & eat. Pretty much something for everyone there from kids, teens, adults, grandparents even the pets. Anyone that doesn't know Orlando area traffic be prepared for a slow go. The parking area here is extremely full. Wear your comfy shoes.
It's good for what it is- an outdoor mall. For food options, convenience, and activities, it's not going to be as good necessarily as some of the more high end traditional malls, but it's cute and has a good selection. A lot of high school and college age people I've known utilize it for dates.
Most popular & live spot to go shopping, eats, bars, grills, fitness, banking, groceries, movie theater and more all in one spot. You will find that phase one has all you need. If you can't find what your looking for try phase 2, you'll find home improvement stores to post office. Waterford Lakes Town Center has been a hit since the grand opening. Even your closest malls are not comparable to this town center.
Great place during the week when nobody is around. Crazy traffic on the weekends when everyone is around. However, I would say that it has gotten better with age. Great place for eating out and doing some shopping.
Thus is a very nice plaza that almost has everything you need. It is family oriented and a nice place to shop for the family. The only complaint I have is it gets very busy during the holiday season.
Could be here HOURS! So many stores to enjoy. There's a little something for everyone and if you get hungry great places to eat in the same area!
This Sprint store is the best I have been to in Orlando. The wait may be long but the service is always good. Even if you are not spending any money they always willing to help. And they are very nice. This is the only location I use in Orlando.
This town center has everything! The location is perfect for UCF students and locals alike. They have everything from a Super Target to a beef jerky outlet. I didn't give the full five stars because driving in and around the town center is extremely hectic. Almost every intersection is a four way stop. Overall though it's a great place to spend a Saturday!
I come to this shopping center daily for work and everyday needs so I'm pretty familiar with its ins and outs.
The shopping center has almost all the big restaurants and retail stores. So if you're looking to buy a new TV or even fabric, Waterford has something for you!
Now there are some issues with the shopping center I've noticed over the years. One, getting in and out of the shopping center. No one uses the 4 way stop at the main entrance right and getting out, the lights take so long that cars tend to line up very quickly and the light isn't even green long enough to relieve the congestion. Two, I live around the corner from Waterford and my fiancé and I tend to bike a lot to stores like Target and Barnes and Nobles. We were stopped by the security guards one day and we were told that we're not allowed to ride on the side walk. For me and my fiancé the sidewalk is a little more safer in most part of the shopping center due to the amount of the traffic.
Needless to say, we have found our bike routes in and out of Waterford and we still visit our favorite shops daily.
It's a nice town center but alot of stores have gone. I hear the rent is too high. We need more stores (like Winter Garedn mall)and better restaurants for fine dining. I hate to travel to Winter Park to eat in a nice restaurant on a date night.
Nice, clean, and safe area to go to. You can get your car washed as you shop. Tons of shopping and restaurants. If you don't like to drive all over the place to get errands done, this is the place to go.
It's a beautiful place to walk around and shop. There are a lot of good stores and many things to do. It never gets old and there is always something new around the corner.
I love Waterford Lakes! you can find everything you need without the hassle of having to walk a whole mall to go to a certain store. The Town Center is always clean, well kept landscaping, security and you can find it all!
