Dying off just as expected, sad for some great stores like Lowe's, Michael's, Target.
What is it with places like Sears that just refuse to lower their outrageous prices? They would rather go out of business first. Seriously, what am I missing? They no longer honor one single guarantee, return policy is now 10 to 30 days depending on item, they purchase in bulk but never restock current clothing sizes. And now, you can walk the entire store looking for a register to check out, they've closed most of them due to a shortage of employees. So Sears, glad to see you go just like the one's up North. You management no longer has what it takes to draw customers. The only reason I'm ever in your store is to get my eye exam or glasses. I would like if the mall had more of a variety for younger people. The mall is a nice hangout where you can talk to your friends and family but, if you're shopping for a gift or present for a teen, don't go to the mall!

Our family took our granddaughters (4 yr and 3 month) to see Santa (which we have done every year). What a disappointment!! First the Santa didn't engage any type of "Santa" mannerisms. Didnt talk to granddaughter at all. He sat like he was having a mug shot taken no smile, no emotion at all. Then we find out we only get 1 pose for 25$ and can have that downloaded for 10$ more. So to get the family shots and the girls we had to buy 5 packages!! Last year we were able to get multiple poses and a CD with ALL the pictures good and bad. For the same as one package. No wonder there wasn't a line!!! Don't go!!!! It's a rip off. They didn't even try to get a good picture without the food court in the back ground for the family shotsvery unhappy!!

The mall itself is okay, but be careful coming here right now. I put my jacket down for a minute on a chair in the food court to get something to eat while my wife and child were sitting at this table. When I came back my jacket was gone. Thanks to the Lord I only had some candy in my pockets for my son and I and nothing valuable. Well it was valuable to my son since I just bought it for him. That's okay though it can be replaced. If the thieves read this, I forgive you and pray you change your ways, I hope the jacket keeps you warm and you enjoy the candy. There are a lot of people hanging out and watching people in the food court, be careful.

This is the worst Mall I have ever visited. There is never a crowd here. I wonder how the stores survive here. Many small stores have left as well as food court stands three are left and Fridays us a restaurant there. I arrived by bus. When wanting to leave I asked the rent a cop where is the bus stop. He said he didn't know. I was shocked and asked how could he work as security and not know where the bus stop is? As it had moved to another position in the mall from my last visit. I've lived in many places in my life and never received such a nonsense answer. We aren't in NYC anymore as security there are certified and have to know where and what is behind exit doors. It was surprising there were no signs posted by Vero Beach as to how or where to get the bus and a time schedule.

As an employee of a tenant in the mall, I should really hate this mall. But; oddly enough, I think it's beautiful. I wish it got more foot traffic, though, with the rate of vacant storefronts ever on the rise here, I can see why the people would rather visit the Melbourne Square mall. I hope the new ownership can bring in some new stores; and usher in the new tenants that this mall needs.
As for standout stores, Books-a-million is awesome, the store is always clean and nice, Spencer's is full of nice people, the AMC movies has a great staff, and the smaller mom-and-pop stores are operated by the nicest people under the sun.response / report this review -

Too many empty stores. Only 4 fast food options and 1 restaurant. Mall recently sold so maybe with new owners will come new stores and dining options.

To be realistic there isn't much to this mall not since the early 2000's when the establishment carried more than just a near empty food court, empty store lots, and THEFT rings continually visiting. The quote on quote "progress" delivered by the "special" events hosted bring little to no business to the surrounding markets where each subsequently holds to stay afloat. The mall needs change. If it were to, the community surrounded by it would benefit as a whole. These issues are true and much needs to be done in turn so that these matters can be truly resolved.

They have open a glow in the dark playground. They have closed the tea shop and several other gems. Their arcade is still fun. But it was TOTALLY depressing to see the little retailers pushed out. They have a wonderful local veterans support store. Local cause they ONLY help local veterans.

I remember this mall in its heyday in the nineties. Now it's just a shell of its former self. Half the shops are empty and have non-chain generic shops with bland clothing on par with a flea market. It is actually a little depressing to walk through now and see so many empty stores. If given the choice, I preferred to drive a few more miles down the road to the outlets by the highway.

The availability of the stores I needed to shop for merchandise. Sale prices were excellent. Parking was great, store hours are good. Cashiers in stores I visited were very friendly and most of very help in locating Merchandise I needed. Informed me of specials, discounts and how to save in the future. Was a very good shopping trip for the distance I drove to get to the mall.😄😄
